This place was fantastic! In the middle of the woods super private! The place was the cleanest I have stayed in and they had everything we needed for a wonderful stay!!It is highly recommended if you want to get off the grid yet still visit Acadia and Bar Harbor.Izak was great at giving us recommendations for all different types of activities and restaurants. We will definitely be booking again!

Great location - a balance of quiet getaway and close enough to visit Acadia & Bar Harbor. LOVED the included bikes so we could ride the carriage roads and the kayaks were fantastic - make sure you watch tide times if you don't have a leisurely schedule.

The home was located in a quiet location with a wooded drive. We had plenty of room to relax in the home that offered outdoor entertainment and indoor enrichment(books, games, activities). The kitchen was well stocked and found everything easily. We enjoyed the setting, bikes, kayaks and explored gouldsboro bay. The kids were enthralled by the moss which inspired them to sit outside and play-feeling right at home. The hosts had many suggestions on where to explore. We hope to visit the area again! It was a pleasure to stay in this home!

Very comfortable house and private location. Everything was as listed and we all had a great time. Theres a nice sand beach at end of grand marsh bay road... and a pebble beach at Sand Cove. I launched my inflatable boat from Sand Cove and caught some nice mackerel for dinner one day. Overall the house was great... many thanks

Perfection on the Water – Gouldsboro’s Hidden Gem!This was our second stay at this spectacular waterfront home, and once again, it exceeded all of our expectations. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to make guests feel welcome, relaxed, and fully immersed in the beauty of coastal Maine.Need bikes? Check. Kayaks? Check. Life vests in all sizes? Check. Bike pump? Of course. Everything we could’ve needed for a fun-filled, adventurous, and stress-free vacation was already waiting for us. The hosts have gone above and beyond in outfitting the property.The sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. The swimming was refreshing and peaceful, with easy access to the water during high tide. After long days of exploring, coming back to a clean, cozy, and incredibly comfortable house felt like a true retreat.This isn’t just a rental — it’s a rare find, lovingly maintained and generously equipped. We’re already dreaming about our next visit. If you’re lucky enough to find open dates, don’t hesitate — book it!

Enjoyed the solitude and rustic setting.

Beautiful spot! My kids loved exploring the shoreline at low tide and sliding down/jumping off the rocks at high tide. Such a peaceful quiet area. We saw lots of birds kayaking by the wetlands in the bay. Perfect spot for hiking the Schoodic Peninsula of Acadia NP and enjoying great seafood restaurants. Even though the main section of Acadia NP was about an hour, it was so nice to stay far away from the crowds! The owners provided lots of useful info about the area. Far exceeded my expectations which were already high;)

This cabin is a quiet and secluded spot in the woods. It’s small but nicely appointed and very clean. I loved waking up to the sounds of nature (loons on the marsh). Communication with the host was easy and prompt.

The house was as advertised and most importantly clean. Exactly what we wanted. Plenty of room for my family of four to spend quiet time relaxing. We loved having access to the kayaks and bikes. If we return I would bring my bike rack to be able to explore further. After a day of exploring we enjoyed family time with board games and movies. Sitting on the screened in porch with coffee in the morning looking at the dappled view of the water was a wonderful way to start the day. It’s a 20 minute drive to Schoodic Peninsula and about an hour to Acadia a great location.

Everything we needed, very comfortable for our family of 6 to spend time together as well as have a little space to spread out but still enjoy being together.

Beautiful house, clean, neat with everything you could possibly need. Loved being away from the hustle, could hear the leaves falling from trees. Kayaks were so nice to have, we glided through the beautiful marsh and bay, so relaxing.

We liked how secluded the property was. There was a beautiful beach 5 minutes away. The house had all the cooking utensils we needed. Our suggestion to keep your food cost down as the near by restaurants were not that good and expensive. If you want lobster, go to the Lobster co-ops and ask them to steam lobsters for you and get some sides at the local groceries and eat lobster at the house or on the beach or at the schoodic point.

Everything we could have dreamed of for a week in Maine.

A fantastic week for the family to reset and connect in a beautiful home on the Schoodic Peninsula. The rooms were perfect for our family! The teen enjoyed his space upstairs and we loved that our little one was in the room next to us. The collection of DVDs was impressive and there is something there for everyone. It was so nice to play games, puzzles, and relax disconnected from Internet and the mouse of life. The bikes were great and we spent an evening enjoying the beautiful sunset views of Schoodic. The Lobster Boat tour in Coriea is a must do! Bar Harbor is about an hour away and a nice ride. The kids could have spent the entire week up at the sand beach collecting sea glass. If you're looking to enjoy Acadia but skip the crowds, consider this property. I'm hoping we'll be back as Maine absolutely has our hearts!

This property was a great base camp from which to explore the Schoodic peninsula and down east Maine. We really enjoyed the tranquility of the area and especially the quieter pace in Corea, Prospect Harbor, Winter Harbor etc. We spent a lot of time kayaking and enjoyed the use of the screen porch. The hosts were very hospitable. We’d love to go back again !

Great place if you want to enjoy quiet ME. The hosts are great, responsive and helpful. The space is fantastic and walking down to the water is so restful. And they have great bikes, kayaks, and what you want for an active trip. If it's important to you to be near restaurants and entertainment then you're signing up for some driving. If you like a quiet place with the quiet part of Acadia right next door then you can't beat this.

We stayed over the weekend of the Fourth of July and were so thankful for the quiet and secluded rental. After visiting the extremely busy Bar Harbor, we loved coming back and kayaking on the Bay. The house was extremely clean and well cared for. The house was well stocked and provided our family including three teenagers a relaxing stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying there. The house was perfect inside as well as the screened in porch.
