Mountain home with firepit, porch & Ping-Pong - near downtown & WCU

We enjoyed the home, and that's what it felt like, home. The screened in back porch was a favorite with the sound of the creek running over the rock in the distance. The kitchen was we equipped and we cooked & entertained during our stay with plenty of everything we needed to do so. The king-size bed was comfortable, although an upgrade in the sheets would make it much more enjoyable.

If you are looking for a beautiful home that makes you feel at home with all the comfort you can ask for, I highly recommend this place! Its close to plenty of stores and is very close to the historic part of Sylva! Everything was very clean and cozy!

The home was better than expected! It's located in a quiet and beautiful area and is super close to the historical part of Sylva. The hose was super clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. They thought of every little detail which even included coffee filters which we completely didnt think of lol. Sitting in the enclosed back deck and listening to the stream was very peaceful! The communication with the host was very good! I highly recommend this place if you plan on staying in Sylva! If i could give it a higher rating I would! It gets a 20/10 from me!

It was the perfect place to enjoy time with the family. The decor was perfect, beds were comfy, kitchen had everything needed to cook and entertain. Loved the back porch where you can hear the sound of the stream flowing by. A perfect mountain getaway to relax and enjoy family time.

We absolutely loved this home away from home. It was clean and cozy. The outdoor space was very relaxing as you could hear the small flowing creek in the backyard. Communication with the host on check in/out was flawless. If we find ourselves back in Sylva, and need a place to stay, it will be here. Definitely will be recommending this home to our friends.

Pleasant stay with clean, safe location. Easy in and out process. Didn't realize this was managed by another third party vacation rental manager and was a bit surprised by the cleaning fee & extra fees, but overall it was fine.

Nice place for us

We stayed here due to a volleyball tournament in Cherokee. We wanted a house rather than stay in a hotel for the weekend. It was an easy 15/20 minute drive over there. There was plenty of space for us (family of 4).

This place was great.Location was also great. We will be coming back!

We love the convenience of this vacation rental. Just a short drive into the quaint town of Sylva. It is a very quiet lane that this house sits on n the neighbors seem pleasant. This is such a comfortable house - the furnishings and bedding were wonderful! The location is prime; just a few minutes away from the shops and restaurants of both Sylva and Dillsboro. Had it been warmer, the screened porch with the babbling brook would have been a fantastic place to spend a lazy afternoon. We only used the coffee maker and refrigerator, however all appliances seemed top notch. There was an issue with the heating system (most likely due to it being the first time turning the heat on since last spring), but we navigated it.

Nice house for a family, very conveniently located. Highly recommend for families.

House was clean & very comfortable. Good location to get to restaurants, grocery. Enjoyed the sunlights in living room. Didn’t like paying the management group over & above the VRBO fees. Won’t stay there again for that reason.

Ripple Run is a great house with plenty of space and a cool layout. Nice kitchen, comfy beds, and the screened porch is fantastic for morning coffee or relaxing. Super close to downtown Sylva but also easy access to Dillsboro, Cullowhee, etc. Will definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

Very peaceful and the screened-in back porch is excellent to relax at. The porch was used much during our stay with the central air and fan not working. The television in the living room was already reported by a previous visitor and the property manager was trying to resolve when we checked in. However the tv never worked. Once the central air and television issues are resolved I wouldn't hesitate to stay at again as the house itself and the back porch were great. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils, the bedrooms comfortable and the house very clean. The setting is peaceful with Sylva and the surrounding area a pleasure to be around.

Got away with the pups for a couple of days while work was being done on our house. Perfect fenced in area for the dogs. It’s comfortable, decorated well, clean, & close to town. Everything you’d need is there. Really enjoyed my stay. Would definitely stay again!

Great Location close to town. Check In process was seamless, and the place exceeded expectations.

When we arrived on a Tuesday, the house was basically in order. Beds were clean as well as bathrooms, but the house is in need of a deep clean and routine maintenance. It appears that there is no inspection before guest arrival. A screen from one of the windows was laying in the yard, the garage, where the ping pong table is located, had not been swept in quite some time, as well as the porch. The twinkle lights on the porch had fallen to the floor and cushions were also on the floor as an example of no inspection. After cleaning up, we sat down to watch a little tv and it did not work. A call was placed to report the problem and we were told that the local agent would be in touch. Chat, call after call, and still no update until Friday when the local agent texted that she had just gotten in to work. This does not seem like a good business model to refer a problem to someone who is actually not available to fix the problem. We were reimbursed for the loss of amenity but it would have gone a long way to have received a return call during our stay and multiple attempts to determine what was being done.

Everything about the house was wonderful! It was clean and well stocked! It was in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything! The screened porch was amazing!
