Miraflor Guest House, family and pet friendly

This home provided a relaxing and good home base for our recent travels. A standout features for us was the King bed; the level of comfort it provided throughout our stay made a significant difference in our overall experience. The other notable mention was the porch. It had a couple of rocking chairs and table with a easy to close gate that allowed us to have coffee and watch the town wake up and start moving.The property owner was extremely attentive, and responded quickly to any questions or communications. When she discovered that there was a modification needed to be made to the home that would enhance our stay, she reached out to us to ensure we were aware. Very friendly and easy to deal with throughout!The location is excellent, offering easy access to local shops and dining. We particularly enjoyed being close to Haywood Smokehouse and Beech Mountain Diner, both of which served exceptional food.For those traveling with a pet, the fenced-in yard is a major highlight. It offered a safe and secure space for our pup to enjoy the outdoors, and he spent a great deal of time watching the activity on the main street from his vantage point. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful, even leaving out a few tennis balls which were an immediate hit.We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable, professionally managed, and pet-friendly stay in the area.

Property was very clean and so cozy. Great location and very convenient to town. Very pleased and I highly recommend this property. We will definitely book again!

Excellent location and fenced yard was great for the dogs!

This little gem of a cottage is the perfect place for a weekend getaway, esp for a couple or a family with two kids! The master has a king sized bed, with a moderately good mattress and then there are two other bedrooms with just enough space for smaller people to sleep in the twin beds. Dog friendly, it was so easy to just let the dogs romp safely in the small enclosure off the front porch first thing in the morning. We met Betsy, the owner, there at the cottage and she was helpful and gracious. Just a lovely experience.

The cottage is so close to everything Dillsboro offers. We walked to dinner both nights that we were there. The cottage provided all that was needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated the cleanliness of the place. Would definitely return when in the area.

The Host went above and beyond to make the house comfortable. All of the extra little details were our best VRBO experience so far. The house was cozy and warm. The convenience of being able to walk down to Dillsboro for dining, shopping, and the Christmas festival was priceless. We were traveling with our fur-baby and all of the pet friendly features were exactly as described. We will definitely look forward to our next stay at Miraflor!

Great have in good location

We love this house so much! This was our second visit. We enjoy staying here because of the location… close enough to walk to anything in Dillsboro but far enough off the road for peace and quiet. We loved the fresh cut flowers in every room and a perfect spot for us to come visit with our adult children in Cullowhee. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts.

Clean and within walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Dillsboro.

Betsy was easy to communicate with, and she took care of the minor issues we had quickly. The front porch on the property is a little slice of heaven!

Very clean and perfect for our stay. We especially enjoyed the covered front porch, the comfortable beds, and that we could bring our fur baby.

This was a perfect place to stay and explore all the great roads around the area. Close to food shopping, restaurant, brewery and very quiet at night which makes it a perfect place to unwind after a hard day riding. Will definitely recommend in the future! Cheers!

The Dillsboro Drop is the first set of really cool white water rapids on the nearby Tuckaseegee River and our new nickname for the Miraflor Guest House. We found it clean as a pin and fresh flowers in the house as well as the porch where humming birds visited during morning coffee. The house sits elevated just above the main road giving very easy access to downtown area shops, restaurants and The Great Smokey Mount Railway depot. Being that close to everything your going to have a little traffic noise but a fair trade for the convenience. The shared driveway has ample parking but requires a little extra maneuvering for our full size truck. Internet was excellent but be aware there is not a TV in the house at this time and we didn't miss it a bit. There was also plenty of games and reading material. Betsy was very quick to reply to any questions we had before and during our stay. When we make it back to the are this will be our Dillsboro Drop!
