My wife and I love staying at the cabana. The bed is really comfortable, and the private deck with amazing view is hard to beat. It’s in a great location near many excellent restaurants and close to downtown and the beach!

Exactly what I was looking for. The private deck had great view of the surrounding hills, and a great place to relax and read. The place, though small, had everything I needed and I appreciated the Keurig and tasty cookies. I would love to stay here again

We truly enjoyed our stay. Parking was a breeze, room was clean, Hudson was friendly. Great open deck for viewing, playing cards, and lounging. Quick responses from owners. Conveniently located to downtown and beach/boardwalk. Highly recommend

This spot is in a nice neighborhood, on a quiet street, the room is clean and comfortable, and has a nice view. I had a great experience! The hosts were kind, attentive, and easy to communicate with. Loved it! Also, if you're looking for a casual night out, Upper Crust Pizza is down to earth with good food, and Penny's ice-cream with the burnt marshmallow topping is amazing!

The view was amazing, very private. The dog was very friendly and greeted us every day. Perfect for couples who like to take it easy

This is our second stay at the Midtown Cabana with Jono snd Keri hosting. I hope a returned trip speaks volumes. The place is perfectly located, super clean and the patio is gorgeous. Easy to say we would stay here again, because we have!

easy in & out- the only thing to be aware of is that there's a lot of noise from the highway, so if you're a light sleeper you'll need to have the windows closed. other than that, it was great! especially the enormous and very comfortable bed.

This property was perfect for my 2-day getaway to unplug, enjoy some quiet time, and get some work done. The room was very clean and cozy with a super comfortable bed and great TV options as well!

Host was welcoming and took care of a problem immediately. I’d like to suggest more hooks be installed in the bathroom and to provide non-flavored creamer for coffee as well. A nice touch, also, is the host’s own booklet of suggestions for dining, etc.

The midtown cabana is great if you are looking for a more quiet place to stay in Santa Cruz. Although it is a little small, it has a very nice outdoor space that is private and a big, comfortable bed. The host was great and the location is close to several stores and restaurants. Highly recommend!

Easy check in process and all the necessities. Definitely not for a family but perfect for 1 or 2 comfortably. Access to downtown is quick and there are some great restaurants really close by. Id definitely stay again.

It is a beautiful property with the most amazing view! So beautiful, the first night we we could not leave for dinner and instead Door dashed dinner to sit outside on the patio! The bed is ultra comfy and the rental is spotless. I will def be back! Thanks for offering such a lovely rental!

We had a great stay! The place was very nice and exceptionally clean, which made it feel comfortable and welcoming from the start. The host was quick to respond to any questions and made the whole process super easy. But the real highlight was the view; absolutely incredible! It made mornings and evenings especially peaceful. Would definitely stay here again!

Great stay! Very quiet, host was very accommodating & respectful, bed was 10/10 , & the patio the view was the best thing to sit outside & enjoy the sounds of nature. Did see two big spiders in the bathroom but that didn’t ruin my stay haha!

Bed was confortable, all was exactly like the add. The guest house was perfect and we did enjoués the patio outside also.

We loved the cleanliness of the place as well as the location. So close to the boardwalk and the redwoods. Hudson was so sweet and greeted us!

Room was small, we had to move furniture around just to walk around the bed. No dresser or closet space for clothes, so had to live out of the suitcase the whole week. The towel ring had fallen off the wall before we got there, the wall was partially repaired, but no place to hang the hand towel. We had to ask for more towels and TP, it's like they didn't know we were going to be there all week. They didn't tell us they had a dog until the day before we arrived; therefore we couldn't get our money back or switch accommodations. I think having a dog on site should be in the listing. Constant road noise. Not a quiet place. Stains on the carpet. The fridge door drags on the carpet, so it doesn't open easily. It literally took two people to open the fridge. The patio was nice. The hosts were responsive. But not worth 200 a night, and definitely won't stay here again.

Very clean and perfect for what we needed. Very close to downtown so ubering was the perfect option. The highlight was the shower’s water pressure it was amazing

Very nice, clean and easy. The deck was nice because I play the guitar and my wife does not want to hear me practice. The deck is a nice second private space with a view.

I really loved the private feel of the room and patio. The space felt bright and pretty clean. I think it could use new carpeting as there were several stains. The shower is pretty bad (way too much pressure for a small shower) but the owner said that he is going to fix that soon. Loved the patio!

Property was very nice and unique. The extra back patio made that overlooked the area mad it special to enjoy a glass of wine and some snacks, or a cup of coffee. And, it was very quiet.

My son and I decided to drive over to Santa Cruz for some great eats and beach time. Beautiful and comforting stay. Owners are kind. View is amazing! Thank you!

I spent two nights here while my daughter was visiting a friend at UCSC and the stay was fantastic. Easy check in process, beautiful property, and very cozy rental. The bed was super comfortable and the sound of the rain on the roof was lovely. The view the next day and the sunset once the rain cleared was gorgeous. Also, the proximity to the store (Safeway) was great as I had to buy ice a couple of times (no freezer, just fyi). Not a big deal though. Hosts were friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be back! :)

This was a very cozy room with a lovely view and amazing outdoor patio (that we didn’t get to enjoy as our stay was too short ;( I hope to stay again next time I’m in SC! It’s exactly as pictured and the bed was incredibly comfortable. You won’t be disappointed : ) Also, it’s a nice quiet location not too far from UCSC, downtown and the beach. (Short drive to each)

Thank you for a great little escape! The room is connected to the owners primary home, but is very private. It was clean, comfortable, and had an amazing patio space!

We loved our overnight stay at this property in Capitola the terraced area was fantastic where we watched the most amazing sunset. We also got to see our first hummingbird whilst sitting on the terrace which was just magical. We visited Shadowbrook for dinner and UCSC Arboretum and Botannical gardens which were superb!
