Mid-Century Modern In Salida, 4X4 deep soaking Tub, Huge 2nd story Balcony views

This place was great. It would make a great home base for an extended stay. The kitchen was very well equipped and the rooms were comfortable. Loved it!

The home is very well appointed. Quality sheets and comforters that are super soft, not the cheap scratchy stuff that some hotels use. And the home has all sorts of extras that make it very easy to be away from home. Shower soaps, kitchen has all the seasonings, great WiFi and the owner provides streaming services for good evening entertainment. If we get back to Monarch this will be our preferred option. And the owner is very nice, very communicative and helpful.

We love Salida!The place is very spacious, well stocked with kitchen needs, love the kitchen , good location, and lovely views.Upon arrival we did notice the toilets were moldy, as if the were cleaned awhile ago (not flushed for sometime) and the kitchen floor had some debris. Also, the master bedroom mattress may need updating as it was unsupportive/ not comfortable. We moved to the second bedroom.And not sure why there are two huge computer work centers in the living area.A nice table to eat at, play cards , visit would instead fit well in the space.Overall the place was nicely updated, well appointed, very open, yet comfortably roomy.Take care and thank you.

The rental was very well laid out and was very comforting with all the latest amenities. The host was also very helpful and responsive to our inquiries.

We loved our stay in Salida, gorgeous views in every direction. Jamie is a fabulous host, responsive and informative. The Phish prints added an amazing touch — some shows my partner had seen, so fun. The kitchen is well appointed and the tub not to be missed. We would stay again!

Exactly as described, a very comfortable stay. Beds and linens are soft, well stocked kitchen. Owners are friendly, no-fuss instructions, plenty of room for luggage/gear and parking. Tastefully decorated. Would highly recommend!

Nice modern home . Great kitchen .

The house was beautiful, the kitchen, living room, bedrooms, and deck were fantastic...but the soaking tub is in the bathroom. We were under the impression from the listing it was an outdoor tub. The bathrooms were next to each other with only a sliding door to separate (not very private) so it was a bit uncomfortable when staying with friends.

We have stayed at a lot of getaways and this was the best equipped place. Any items you think you might need is in the kitchen, bathroom and even the desk area. The design of the place was fabulous -so many windows to see the mountains with an ideal layout. Of course the area is also ideal for outdoor activities-we enjoyed hiking at Ruby Mountain. We will be back.

It was very nice and had just enough driveway for our 20ft SXS trailer.

Great spot, and very clean. Lots of small touches that made this feel like a well-taken care of property. Owner graciously let us use the garage when we couldn't fit our cars into the regular spaces due to some street construction. Very nice upstairs outdoor patio and downstairs patio, too! More spacious than I expected, and we had a great time with zero fuss.

Super cool

The home was very clean, comfortable, and stocked with quality products. The bed was the most comfortable one we have ever had when using VRBO which is really important to us. The location was great since we could walk one half mile to the downtown and also ride our mountain bikes to two different trail systems. It is on a busy road with a low speed limit and is under construction but the noise dies down at night and you can't hear it from the bedroom. We could hear the people staying downstairs when we were in the bedroom. The host was very responsive and accommodating and has pride in her rental home. It was a great stay!

I absolutely loved this place. Very modern and clean. The pictures look great but I feel its even better in person. I would definitely stay again.

What a lovely stay for the week in Salida for skiing and shopping and snow. This 2nd story modern rental had it all; clean bathrooms, a stocked open kitchen, complementary delicious teas and coffee, adequate supplies everywhere, and soft linens and beds. We saw mule deer in the yard one morning and journeyed downtown every afternoon. Jamie was an awesome host. We hope to return soon. We will not forget Salida!

After staying here, I now lust for a bigger kitchen with upgraded appliances. Dream kitchen. Upscale appliances throughout, including Japanese soaking tub and huge TV. Very comfortable at every level, from living room to bedrooms with great mattresses. Jaimie has left no stone unturned in effort to create a modern masterpiece near the best places in Salida.

The house is very clean and well-appointed. I didn't understand the bathroom layout based on the VRBO photos; could have been a little awkward with guests since the two bathrooms are really the same room separated by a pocket door. However, it was just our small family so it was fine. Good trip?
