the worst thing was the flies! Maybe need to get house sprayed??. Everything else was great. Lovely relaxed tranquil spot but close enough to amenities and activities to make for a really enjoyable break

Great stay, great host

We couldn't have found a better better property for our group of 2 couples. Grant's house is in a gorgeous location with stunning views from dawn to dusk, and we could have happily have stayed for much longer as it is so well equipped and furnished that everything has been thought of. There were 4 different ways to make coffee, not counting instant! We loved it here and would come back in a heartbeat.

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday home! The location was absolutely stunning, offering beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere. The home itself was spotless and well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable.The only minor inconvenience was having to organise our own bed linen and towels, which required extra planning since we were visiting from Australia. However, this didn’t take away from the overall experience.I can definitely recommend this place to all visitors — it's a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway!

Perfect weather, perfect location just to chill with family

Fantastic location for swimming and views. Plenty of room on deck and inside living area. Large bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. Didnt have to leave our little paradise all weekend. Too busy in the water and on the beach.

This was one of our best holidays in a while. We were perfectly surrounded by nature, estuary and beach. The pix online does not do justice to the house itself. The only regret I have is 8 days we’re not enough.

A lovely sunny warm bach, even in July. Very quiet surroundings with a view of the water. A perfect place to relax and unwind.

Absolutely immaculate! Beautiful, beautiful home, stunning views. Easy communication with host. Comfortable bedding and couches and living area for our group of five ladies. Even in middle of winter, was just wonderful. Will most definitely be back. Us ladies would love to make it an annual retreat.

Excellent warm home with great facilities. Experienced upper north island power cut & Grant (host) made contact to ensure all was okay. Shopping complex with all facilities & Ruakaka Tavern & Restaurant all close by. Tavern had a great variety of meals if required. Ruakaka Beach also very close. Would recommend.
