This was a great place to rent. Check in was a breeze. The house is a large 4 bedroom that looks like no one ever lived in it. Immaculately clean. Furniture looked new. Beds were super comfortable. Air conditioning kept total house at comfortable temperature. Dish washer and washing machine were an added bonus. The kitchen is moderately large with everything you would need. We used the electric stove and cooktop everyday thanks to the full collection of pots and pans that were provided. There's a swimming lake just down the road that we were too busy to enjoy. We had a couple of questions while we were there. An email to the owner resulted in a quick response. If you love being in a wooded, mountainous environment within easy driving of Mt. Rushmore, Crazy Horse memorial and a little further to the Badlands this is your place.

This house was outstanding! Modern comfort in a rustic setting! The central location made it easy to travel to all our destinations in the Black Hills and surrounding areas. We especially loved the short walk to Lakota lake which was scenic and peaceful. Hosts were terrific! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to the Black Hills!

One of the best properties we have stayed at for vacation. The owners, Steve and Karen, really put their all into making this a fabulous property. No stone was left unturned. It was a very cool location and very peaceful. Took the in-laws with us because they have never been to South Dakota. They couldn’t say enough about how they loved the house.
