Watch the 1880 Train roll by while enjoying a morning cup of coffee!!

Fabulous location near everything or close to the highway needed to get there. Lovely and co.fortable accommodations. Enjoyed the game room in the evenings and the outside gas fire table! The owners were delightful.

My wife and I stayed for 6 nights while visiting the area. Super clean and wonderful place to stay!! Hosts covered EVERY detail and provided everything we needed or could have wanted!!!

Great place to stay when visiting the Black hills. Very close to so many of the places to visit. And if you go on the 1880 train ride - it takes you right by the place. And then in the evening s'mores, grilling, pool table, air hockey, arcade games, watch a movie...Check in was smooth and with a mini tour of the place. The hosts were super nice and helpful. Great central location and all (and more) of the amenities you need. Linda and Rick really go out of the way to ensure you don't need anything, from the brochures and suggestions on trips, to the fully furnished kitchen, bathroom, you get it. Our only regret was that we didn't spend as much time in the game room, but hiking called. And the train literally passes right in front of the property, which is pretty cool. Finally, it became a game to guess what wildlife we'd see when we left in the morning: deer, turkeys, you name it. All in all, a great time.

Everything about our stay was fantastic The game room kept the grandkids occupied and quiet. Keystone is a short drive from thetr you have access to everything

Rick and Linda were wonderful hosts. They were very welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable about the area. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Our kids loved the game room and the fire pit with the bonus “welcome s’mores kit” was a fun surprise. The train was neat to watch and never annoying and the views were so relaxing from the patio. Great stay would definitely go again!

We had a delightful time. A real plus is having an owner occupied VRBO. We enjoyed watching the 1880 train at about 9:45. The game room was ideal for our 3,12 year old grandsons, 4 fun games. There was a spacious feel to the place and the kitchen well- stocked with cooking supplies. I even made Belgian waffles one morning. Rick and Linda live conveniently located to many of the sights in the area. In spite of cool and sometimes rainy weather, we were able to do all we wanted to do, and it really helped having such a lovely place to call home for 4 days. Thank you Rick and Linda for your hospitality, friendliness and helpfulness.

This was a nice place to stay with our family. The check-in process was great, and we were given a tour to help us make the most of our time there. It was centrally located—many scenic areas, state parks, and tourist activities were within 15 minutes. The kids (and dad) loved the game room as we unwinded after a long day exploring. It was an A+ experience!

Rick and Linda did not disappoint with the entire experience! Very clean and furnished with everything you need for a great vacation. Easy property to find and located in close proximity to many of the key destinations in Keystone and the Black Hills. We will definitely book this property again when returning to the area.

This was a great location for our trip to the badlands. Our 3 boys enjoyed the game room space as well as finding deer every morning and evening. Kitchen was useful and fully met all of our needs. Would stay gain

Our family of three stayed in Linda and Rick's charming rental. They were so kind and welcoming when we arrived, and the house was exactly as advertised! My 6-year-old son was tired from the long car drive and was so excited to play in the game room. The neighborhood was in the perfect location for all of our planned activities (centrally located). We loved watching the train roll by, which is only during daytime hours. We waved to the passengers as they went by, which my son loved. The view is spectacular from the patio. The house is fully stocked with whatever you could possibly need. I wish we had a little more down time at the house so we could do the puzzle and enjoy the surroundings even more. It was the perfect getaway, and we will definitely book again if we return!

Great location close to all sights very clean house and everything you could think of at the property very nice welcome goodie bag also another bag of toiletries in case you forgot them. I definitely recommend this house in a beautiful location

Beautiful house looking down on 1880 tracks. My boys loved the game room! My wife and son finished the puzzle during our stay. (If you stay here, you will know what I mean). Rick and Linda are wonderful people and they have a great house in a great area. Thanks for everything!

Our family had a wonderful trip to the Black Hills/Mt Rushmore!!! A big part of what made it great was staying here!!! It was a home away from home for our stay. Close to everything and the game room, puzzle, fire pit, etc were awesome!! Owners thought of it all! Can't say enough about how great this home was. Stay here for your trip to South Dakota!!!

I didn’t realize until after booking that this was for a lower level of a home. Rick and Linda live above, and couldn’t have been more inviting and gracious. They gave us a tour of the space and it’s like they anticipated our every need. Fully stocked kitchen, welcome bags with extra items, even iced glasses in the freezer. Everything was so clean and fresh, not a speck of dust. They definitely take pride in their home. Our family of 4 had plenty of space and really enjoyed the game room and outdoor areas. Location is great, only 20min from the grocery store in Hill City and 5min from Keystone. We would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!

The rental was tucked away just a mile and half from the center of Keystone. Rick and Linda were amazing host and thought of all the little things. They helped with ideas for local eateries. They even helped with directions with the road closures. Would definitely recommend to others. When we come again we plan to stay with Rick and Linda!
