We were really impressed with the whole home. The house was equipped with everything we needed. The house was spacious and equipped with high quality amenities. Very convenient for getting to Houghton and for outings up the peninsula.

This was a great property with excellent hosts. We travel all over the country for work and have stayed in dozens of VRBO rentals and my crew and I all agreed this was the nicest one yet. Everything was clean and well thought out in the home. It's well decorated and they had a lot of amenities waiting for us, including snacks. The hosts went above and beyond and even helped track down a Fed Ex delivery driver to make sure our package was delivered for the job we were on. Would definitely recommend this property if you're ever in Houghton.

This was the perfect place for us to land after days of exploring all that the Keweenaw Penninsula has to offer! It was our home away from home and we all felt so comfortable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The location is convenient and the house is lovely - clean and well-appointed. The snack basket and basic condiments in the fridge (ketchup, mustard, syrup, etc.), stocked spices, tea and coffee, all the supplies in the main bathroom were were really appreciated. The hot tub was nice to relax in (before the heat wave set in!) and the rooms were really comfortable. The only minor suggestion I would make would be ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We may well have been there on the hottest day/night combo of the summer (I think the overnight low was 75), and the A/C did a great job in the main area and upstairs bedrooms, but the downstairs rooms with the doors closed got a little stuffy. Aside from that, everything was outstanding. We especially appreciated the check-out procedures, which were simple and straightforward and emphasized that they saw us as their guests. We will definitely be back!

A beautiful property in a quiet neighborhood. Impeccably decorated with a lovely hot tub. Primary bedroom with walk-in shower was perfect for my parents with motility issues. Teenage kids loved their privacy in the loft area. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

This place was very nice. Nice appliances, heated floors, hot tub is so nice after a day of riding. plenty of plowed parking for two trailers if needed. Owners live nearby and would open the garage for us if we needed an indoor area to work on a sled. Thats pretty cool.

We stayed here January for a snowmobile trip. The accommodations were perfect. The living room, kitchen and dining were plenty big for gathering and the bedrooms spacious and comfortable. Several conveniences supplied above and beyond the typical items, including some bathroom toiletries. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and also coffee, spices and misc condiments. For my fellow snowmobilers: the property is located about a half mile off trail 17. We rode right from the property, following the road to pick up the trail. We had three trucks and trailers (three and four place trailers), and all fit fine with parking. The owners plowed extra parking along side the house and also have a second lot plowed right next to the house just steps away. Karla was a great host. She was a great communicator and super responsive. I recommend this property; you won’t be disappointed!

We had a group of eight that stayed here for a weekend snowmobiling trip. Adults and late teenagers. Everything about the property was excellent. Very clean, plenty of room to park the trucks and trailers, great location, and easy communication. Kids enjoyed the hot tub! We would definitely stay here again.

The house was really nice and bigger than I expected. The location was perfect. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us. My only regret is we should have stayed a week because there is so much to do near that house.
