Stayed Sep 8, 2025We loved the cottage…bed was very comfy and view was wonderful. Bathroom was huge. It was one of the most-relaxing get-aways that we’ve had in a while and the cottage owner was easy to contact with questions. There is some construction as you pull into the drive (I thought we were in the wrong place). It’s good that the cottage windows are NOT on the backside; so once you are in, you don’t see the construction—only the lovely view of the water and buildings in Houghton. We would stay again.

Stayed Jul 31, 2024We had an amazing time at the property. Sandy, the owner, was extremely nice, attentive and communicative. Our entire group had fun enjoying the lake, dock, outside fire pits and scenery. The house is new and very well done and appointed well. We are already making plans to try to go back for another stay.

Stayed Jun 16, 2024Property is as advertised. Awesome for a week stay. The house was a little hard to find the first time because you cannot see it from the road, but being secluded was a great benefit. The house had everthing we needed. Overall a great rental.
