Trailside Cabin #3, across the Lake from MTU, next to boat & snowmobile rentals

it was in an awesome spot for us. we were up there to snowmobile, the trail was right there. can't complain on anything! could say best ever if the bed was a king

Perfect for a couple. Clean. Great location. All the amenities you could want.

Hut tub and sauna were great.Was very clean.Would stay again.I think it would be great to have 5 couples stay because each couple would get their own cabin but still be in the same building. Community sauna, hot tub, and fire pit.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was great for our needs.No issues.

Check in was great. Good instructions how to use the key pad. Furniture was comfortable and the entire cabin was very clean.

We really enjoyed the close location to everything and the cabin was very clean and comfortably set up. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating to work with. We had a great stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Keweenaw Waterway Cabins! Everything was exactly as described in the listing and photos. The cabin was neat, clean, and well-stocked with essentials, which made our stay even more comfortable.The amenities were fantastic—our group especially loved the hot tub, sauna, and game room, all of which were top-notch. The location was perfect for outdoor adventures and beautiful views of Portage Lake and Michigan Tech.A couple of minor areas for improvement: the beds were not the most comfortable, and we would have loved to see a paved parking pad in front of the cabin. The muddy conditions made it difficult to avoid tracking mud into the cabin.That said, Kari was extremely responsive, and we had no issues at all during our stay. We would absolutely consider staying here again, especially in another season to take full advantage of the different outdoor activities and stunning scenery.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, adventure-filled getaway in the Keweenaw!

We had a wonderful time at this rental property! The location was absolutely ideal – close to campus and right on the Portage. It was so convenient for getting around and exploring the area and MTU's Winter Carnival. The property itself was everything we could have asked for. It was impeccably clean, nicely furnished, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt right at home.Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for a great place to stay in the area. We would definitely book again!

Property was clean, well maintained, several extras like coffee bar and snacks, and easy to find. Great location next to the trail for snowmobiling and lots of parking for trailers.

This place is absolutely perfect. Cabin #4 was incredibly clean and cozy. We were up visiting our son who plays football at MTU, and felt right at home. The game room, hot tub, and sauna was definitely an added bonus. That will come in handy during future stays for ski trips as well. This is a must stay for anyone visiting the Houghton/Hancock area. Kari and her husband now have lifelong customers.

Place seemed pretty new and had everything it shows in the listing. The arcade/sauna/hot tub area is neat as well as the beach. Owner is very responsive.

I have stayed at several different rentals in this area during my many visits to my son at MTU and this one was my favorite. Not only was the cabin beautifully appointed, but the location was lovely. Little Sandy Beach on the shore of the waterway with wonderful views of the campus in the bridge. Really showed off Houghton and Hancock. The game room was such a delight. Maybe next time will remember our swimsuits for the hot tub and song. Beautiful beautiful place.

Clean, great location, and equipped with everything I needed.

Location was great, unit was nicely appointed and had a little spot along the portage to sit and watch the water go by.

I didn't stay but I had employees up there for a construction project. They said the place was nice and clean.

Cabin was very clean! My family and I enjoyed our stay, the sauna, hot tub and game room was very nice and clean! Will definitely comeback when we’re in the area!

The property and location were perfect for our visit to the UP

I did not stay, but my guys that were working on the Taco Bell remodel did. They said it was a great cabin.

This was an awesome hidden gem. Will stay here everytime from now on!
