Inside you will enjoy the charm of this Sears and Roebuck home built in 1910 that has been beautifully maintained with character throughout.
The property and the house are just incredible. Very well maintained and clean. I loved the chandeliers around all the house. We had very good time there and needed pictures of the house for memories and moments we had there. We came to Yakima to my daughter’s graduation from PNWU, and she wanted pictures taken at the front yard and entrance stairs. Thanks for sharing your property.
We stayed two nights in this great house, and we will have to find a reason to come back to Yakima to stay again. It's a restored historic home with lots of charm, and the large covered back porch was a wonderful bonus. The house is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. Host was very responsive.
We were welcomed so warmly, we felt like we were a friends home. Everything is charming and clean, and we stayed up late chatting on the lovely porch. We would definitely like to return.
The house is extraordinarily clean! It’s a restored older home, with great character and decor. The host was very responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly book again in the future.
This house is awesome. Super clean and comfortable. It has everything that you need for a week-long stay. The house is big, but it feels so cozy. Thank you so very to the owner for having it decorated for Christmas. It meant the world to me. I so enjoyed waking up in the morning and enjoying my coffee in the living room by the lighted tree. I would recommend this home to any family... May even rent it again next year. Thank you so very much!!!!
This is our 2nd time staying at this cozy house and it didn't disappoint. Accomodations we accounted for, communication with the host was immediate, and per usual- very clean! We'll be back?
This house was everything I wanted and needed it to be. Kristi is an amazing host - she responds quickly to messages and is very kind. If you are looking for a house in Yakima for a small family gathering - we had 4 adults staying in the house and 2 visiting during the day - this is perfect. The back porch sitting areas are good for sitting and visiting, as is the living and dinning areas. I especially loved the front room - it’s a great space to just get a little quiet time for meditation or reading. I know it sounds like I’m gushing, and I probably am just a little. Honestly, if I could find a house like this one for sale, I would do everything in my power to convince the hubs to buy it for me. Thank you, Kristi, for sharing your beautiful house and for being an amazing host.
Super clean and spacious home! Loved this unique older home with plenty of space. The little reading room was a great surprise and allowed our college age daughter some quiet space to study. Beds were very comfy with nice white linens too. We accidentally left our dog leash and the owner offered to send it back. Plenty of convenient parking too!
Great place for the wedding party to spend time together. House had all we needed and more!! Kristi was a excellent host.
The house is in a great location and it is very easy to get around. The house is beautifully decorated with all the chandeliers. The rain shower in the master bedroom made it feel like a vacation home.
Beautiful home and wonderful bedrooms, perfect for our getting ready pictures for our bride and bridesmaids. Kristie was very accommodating.
Everything was great.
Great location and property for golf trip.
Lets keep this place a secret so we always have it to go too!!!! Loved the house and its location. The bed i slept in was the best ive ever had in 50 years of traveling. i have nothing but good things to say about this property and its owner.
The Chandelier Home is by far one of the best VRBO's home we have booked. It was meticulously clean. The home is a Sears and Roebuck home built in 1910. It has all the charm of an old home with modern updates. We were in town originally for Grandma's 87 Birthday. A week before our arrival we learned that my Wife's Brother Tom passed away. All the family traveled to Yakima to attend the Birthday Party one day and the funeral the next. After the funeral we were able to host all of our out of town family and feed them all dinner. We look forward to returning to The Chandelier Home - one day in the future.
The Chandelier house is clean, functional and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, and for being an old home, in great shape and very comfortable. It is a nice, central Yakima location. The owner is amazing with her responsiveness and flexibility.
It was exactly as listed and worked fine for our group.
If you like the uniqueness and quirks of a century old home this is just the ticket. As with most older homes quite a few stairs. Everything was clean and neat with all the amenities. Street is a bit noisy but you are staying in town so noise to be expected. Nice that it had garage accessible during the cold weather.
Cozy & spacious. True to the listing description. We travel to Yakima once a year for high school sports and have stayed at a few VRBO's but we'll definitely be keeping this spot as it's our favorite by far. Thank you again Kristi!
Lovely property that accommodated our group with plenty of room to gather and have quiet moments. Quick response from hosts with any questions! Beds very comfortable too. A few maintenance concerns with steps going down to porch and into basement from Kitchen, some boards rotten and rugs on porch need to be secured to reduce tripping hazard. As marketed to large groups a full size coffee pot would be nice too, but Kuerig worked! Overall minor concerns in a beautiful setting!! We had a great stay.
