I can’t write a good review or bad review. The drive up to the home was so difficult that we did NOT stay. Make sure you read the descriptions very well! You absolutely need a four wheel drive to get to home and turns are absolute hair pin turns. Home is on top of the mountain so there is no lighting for the driveway and it is covered in leaves. The basement is the king bedroom, but loft was cute. You can tell the home has been updated and was clean.

First off, let me say that they are NOT kidding when they said a 4wd vehicle is needed to reach the property. Luckily for my wife and I, that is a good selling point! The home is tucked away quite nicely in the mountains and, as a result, is very private and secluded. Perfect for a quiet getaway with your significant other. The home is furnished well enough for a small family and most everything is supplied (dishes, pots, pans, cooking utensils, personal hygene products). The Wifi is fast and reliable and the clever use of solar lights along the path up to the home made it very easy to keep track of the trail at night. The only reason this is a 4 star review is because there is a severe insect problem. While I understand that a cabin in the middle of the woods on the side of a mountain is going to be difficult to keep completely free of insects, the amount of stink bugs, spiders, and other creepy-crawlies that we had to shake out of various sheets, pillows, and towels was frankly unacceptable. Pair that with the multitudes of cobwebs in every corner and the random spider webs that we walked through (in every room and hallway) when we arrived and it really just made it feel like no one had been in there to clean in months. However, I will say that general cleanliness was good! The dishes provided were clean and ready to use, the appliances were neat and clean, and the bedrooms and bathrooms were well kept and free from stains or debris. Overall, this is a great place to stay!

We have an SUV and could not get up the driveway. We had to walk up the steep driveway because our car got stuck. We got out the next morning but it is unrealistic to think guests are not going to have to drive in the dark to get to this house. Very disappointed in the whole experience including the Vacasa company indicating we could not get our 2nd night monies back.

Some recommendations - You really need an AWD car or greater. - Cabin water comes from a well. - Read all instructions from Vacasa.

Beautiful views at the house!! Definitely need an all wheel drive vehicle to safely climb the dirt road to get to this house. House has basic kitchen items only. There were no convenience items (wine opener, coffee filters, salt/pepper, starter log for fireplace, etc) in the house which made it difficult on a short visit. Need to bring everything you will need in order to cook anything here. Beds extremely comfortable but decor is definitely a bit outdated.
