Located in the resort town of Frankfort, Michigan, Serendipity House offers summer lodging in five suites just a block from Lake Michigan. The Sandune Suite is our largest at 1,150 square feet, has one bedroom with a queen bed and another with two queen beds and a twin bed. The suite sits on the second floor at the rear of the inn and has two private entrances, living room with a sofa bed, full private bath and full kitchen.

Stayed Sep 12, 2025Lovely home very close to the beach in a lovely little town. We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean and comfortable. We were here for the Ironman race and the location couldn't be better. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed Sep 15, 2023Great location! We were there for the Ironman Triathlon and the location was perfect, it was so nice just to walk back to our unit. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen, while tiny, was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Aug 29, 2021My family loves Lake Michigan and to be able to be only a few steps from the beach and enjoy the water & beautiful sunsets was awesome. The guest house was comfortable and very cozy and my family thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

Stayed Jul 24, 2021You can't beat the location - 2 blocks from one of the best beaches in Michigan to the west and just one block to the charming downtown area in the other direction. And just a short drive to Sleeping Bear, Traverse City, Leelanua, and other area attractions. However, it's a little misleading to advertise the Sandune Suite for 6-8 people. Yes, it's possible for 6-8 people to sleep here. But don't expect there to be enough room for everyone to be comfortable during the day. The kitchen is too small for 2 adults to be in the room at the same time. And the living area does not have enough room for more than 4 people to sit. It was comfortable enough for just the 2 of us, especially since we didn't need to kitchen for more than making coffee and toast in the mornings.

Stayed Jun 15, 2021Check in was easy. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Short walk to the beach. Half hour drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes.
