Overall this was a great experience. The place was very clean, spacious, and well prepared for us! It was easy to get ahold of our host and he was very helpful! The outdoor space was awesome, very close to some nice restaurants and the water. Also not too far from Grand Haven! Would highly recommend, thanks!

The stay was great, the location is secluded and quiet, perfect for relaxing, but not far from many of the beaches and stores. We had an electric bike with us, it was fun riding it around and going down the sidewalks by the main road. It was a great place for star gazing as well, the light pollution was minimal. We wish it was cold enough for the fireplace. The home is spacious and well kept. I love that every room had a tv, it helped to entertain us. Overall it was a positive experience and he would recommend the home, the location and the host. Thank you for hosting us. Dave and family

Had a great stay. Kurt was very responsive to any questions we had. Check-in was super easy and description of house was spot on. Kitchen was very open along with the rest of the house. Just a few minutes to several beaches so there was a lot to do. Also enjoyed the walking path on the main road to the property. Went on several 4-5 mile walks. Thinking about next year already.

The property was as described and fit our needs perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment, we made good use of the beach toys, and we loved having a big fire pit to use each night. The location feels tucked back in the woods but is close enough to beaches and town to quickly shoot over. The house did have a strong smell but I had read that in other reviews so it didn’t concern me. The well water has a strong iron smell. Drinking water wasn’t a problem but showers would be a little unpleasant if you’re not used to it. Communication with the owner was great. Overall, we would stay here again!

Great communication from owner. Lovely peaceful home. Very convenient to all. New gazebo area is really a good add! This was our second stay and we will be back!

We stayed for a long weekend and had a great time. The place has lots of room for hanging out and sleeping. Was awesome to have towels and other fun items for heading to the local beaches. Not walkable to much but very easy to drive to nearby Holland.

This was a great one week stay. We had some problems getting the check in information. The owner and VRBO helped straighten it out by check in time. The house smelled oddly when we first arrived. It turned out the glass doors on the fireplace were broken and we were smelling the old fire smell. The beds were somewhat old and too soft. Really recommend that the owner invest in three new mattresses. The bedrooms were too warm to sleep comfortably. I closed the registers in the rest of the house and the bedrooms were cooler from the AC. The deck hot tub was perfect. We didn't stay in the house much because most of the activities were at my brother's house nearby.

We had a great stay at this property. A completely stocked kitchen with everything we needed-a rarity for this type of rental. The property was a bit smoky smelling which the owner reports is from the wood burning fireplace and we had some staining issues from the water in the washing machine, but overall there was lots of space, lots of amenities, we'd happily book again.

We were pleasantly surprised at how cozy the cabin was and fully stocked for the most part. The hot tub was a great feature! Lots of space to roam in and out! Great communication with Kurt! We really enjoyed the area as first timers to that part of the state. The iron smell and taste of the water was a minor inconvenience but overall, we had a great time and stay. Thanks Kurt!
