My husband and I built and designed this house (900 square foot) for simple/retirement living. In floor heating, mini split AC. There is a large pond that separates us and our son/neighbor. We often see wild life here. We have a small patio in the front and a bigger one in the back yard. There is a natural gas grill and firepit/ fire wood in the back yard as well. Stayed Jul 16, 2023Great, quiet setting! Small chicken coop on property that you can gather eggs from for breakfast! Gretchen left notes around the house explaining and offering different things!! Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Jun 27, 2025We stayed at the cabin for one night, and it was perfect for our needs. Check-in was easy, the space was clean and neat, and very cozy. The host did a great job of communicating good local options for restaurants and activities, we really enjoyed the local farmer's market on Saturday morning. We also enjoyed the bird feeders outside the windows - we got a visit by a hummingbird in the morning! Thank you for your kindness and hospitality!
