LAKE HOUSE SOUTH Waterfront Retreat with DOCKAGE on Susquehanna River & HOT TUB

The host was excellent. The place is a hidden gem. I went here for a guys' weekend, and we really enjoyed the variety of activities onsite and in the area. The open floor plan was a big plus.

Beautiful house and property! We really enjoyed the hot tub and getting to stay warm while looking up at the stars. Would highly recommend staying here and visiting the Lancaster area, lots to do and explore.

Great relaxing stay. My husband and I traveled with both sets of parents and we all had a very comfortable experience. The stairs were a bit difficult for our elderly parents but we made it work. The home had everything needed for our stay. Location was great. Beautiful area. Views of the river/lake were beautiful and we all enjoyed the trains going by. Would definitely stay again. The house was very spacious with a lot of closet space and drawers. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had more than enough plates, cups, silverware and pots and pans. There were also a lot of towels and washcloths. Beautiful views, especially sunsets, from the deck. The host promptly returned all of my text messages. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here with our wedding party for our wedding weekend. We were able to host a cookout, our rehearsal walk through, and all the weekend festivities. Brian was always responsive to my questions and provided us with a stress free weekend. The views are AMAZING! The property truly is a steal, picturesque and equipped with everything you need.

We loved the spacious rooms. We used the hot tub every night. The view from this property is so serene and relaxing. 100% recommend!

We love the location of this house because we enjoy boating. The house is clean and spacious and has a great deck to hang out on. Very comfortable beds with TV's in every bedroom. Very well kept home.

Owners were easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful. Property was beautiful, quiet, peaceful and clean. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and games and puzzles galore. From the wildlife to the beautiful sunrises and sunsets, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake House South. The views were amazing, and it was fun to watch the birds and bunnies in the yard. We had everything we needed and then some. The home was clean except for some dead bugs on the high windowsills that were hard to reach for a cleaning person. It did make a difference when looking out the bedroom windows over the Livingroom and we wished they weren't there. We loved the pottery decor and the variety of books on the bookshelves. The road was closed right near us, so it was a very quiet and peaceful area. The train track is close, but it was fun to watch them when they passed through. There were not that many, but some came through at night. Even so, it was not that loud and if you book a place with a train track, expect to hear trains. We would definitely recommend staying here and would stay here again. I would also totally recommend going to Village Greens Golf Mini Golf near Strasburg while you are in the area. It was one of the most beautiful mini golf places I have ever been to. Waterfalls and flowers!

Everting was great. House was well maintained. The view to the Susquehanna was perfect.

We loved our stay at this house. In town for a wedding, the space was the perfect size to let us visit with family and get ready. Only thing others may want to know is how close the train tracks are to the house. We had lots of safety talks with our kids, and we always knew when the train was going by! But the views of the river can’t be beat.

The property met our needs for space and amenities. The area and setting of the property is lovely. It was chilly the week we visited otherwise we would have spent more time outside. We had an easy check in with good instructions. We had no need to contact the owner during our stay.We were satisfied with the accommodations.

This is our 3rd time staying at the lake house, we really love it. The view from the deck is gorgeous! Lots of room to every one.

The property was beautiful as well as the view. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The ice machine was broke but called Brian and he was very accommodating and fixed it right away. We were very fortunate to meet him face to face. Enjoyed visiting with him. A great place and centrally located for everything we wanted to do.

We had a wonderful stay and had ample space to provide escape when needed and gathering spaces for game time and fellowship. Brian was very attentive to a couple of minor situations and was able to fix them immediately. We all enjoyed the tranquility and view each morning and all the items needed to prepare meals was terrific. We only wished that the fire pit was cleaned out and had smaller logs to burn. Overall we truly enjoyed our stay.

We loved being next to the train tracks and the water. It was amazing sitting out on the deck, watching all the boaters each morning. There were some minor issues A few things not working, like the water and ice machine. There were also crumbs all over the place, and we had to vacuum the first day. However, the bathrooms were extremely clean and we fully appreciated the stocked towels and kitchen. Especially the soap at each sink! We all agreed we would come back.

we had a wonderful stay at this property. the views are amazing. It was clean. well equipped for large parties. you can sit in the hot tub and watch eagles fly by. i would recommend bringing binoculars.

Beautiful river views, great location for entertaining, family gatherings or just relaxing and enjoying the hot tub, beautiful surroundings. Plenty of cooking gear and utensils if you plan on eating in.

We loved the river house! Beautiful location! The entire space was perfect to gather with family! Mornings on deck were great very quiet. Great view and Sunset on the deck! Dock was nice, good for fishing and boat.! We will be back!!

The view was majestic!! The deck was everything you could want. Love the house decor and overall feel. Boating on the lake was great and my grandchildren love seeing the trains go by, it was a treat for the adults too. We will stay here again!

Was a great place to sit on the deck and enjoy the river and watch the eagles and hawks. The house is well kept and has multiple areas to gather and relax with your party.

This place exceeded our expectations. Modern interior design, all the appliances we needed for our large group, plenty of room for everyone inside and out. The hosts had prepared everything and were willing to accommodate a last minute change. We can't wait to go back.
