Lake house on Lake Murray with private dock and boat ramp.

Love lake life! Jo Ann the host was responsive but not intrusive. The rental home is lovely yet very dated and was a tad taken by its front curb appeal. Hence the 4 star. The sleeping porch is not private but the lake view is fabulous! Upgrades are made to the 3 bathrooms that were very nice and handy! Appropriate linen and ample bath supplies too! We got a care package too! (Thanks) The space worked great for us and family was happy! What makes this location is murray lake and this back yards newly built gazebo and dock! Wow! We had a small party on gazebo area! So perfect! We brought our 24 foot dual axel boat trailer and had to drop at marina 2 miles away and boat over to our rental. Could not drop boat at rental slip shown in vrbo picture. Not an issue just fyi This property has steep pathways to dock prolly not well suited for the “elderly” and be careful with “kiddos under 4”. we had a few minor scrapes and injuries from the paths. All in all it was a fabulous weekend also celebrating a daughter graduating from univ of South Carolina (45 minutes) away! Ideal set up suitable for us thanks again

Great view, location, yard, and Host.

We absolutely love this house. This is our 4th year staying. It’s in a perfect location and always very clean and nice. Wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Such a beautiful place

All was as advertised. Great parking for mutiple boats. Beautiful view of the lake and a brand new dock. We had 8 guys and we all had a bed and plenty of room. Great place and a great host. We would definitely stay again.

The lake view is extraordinary. It is a calm, peaceful environment and quite spacious. There were a couple of minor issues which were addressed immediately and did not significantly impact our stay. I would certainly recommend it and hope to return someday.

Very beautiful property. Exactly as listed. Extremely relaxing. Host is very responsive.

Good time was had by all. Only issue we had was no railings on the steps. And steps were irregular. Both height and tread. Our group ranged from 68 to 84 years old. That's not safe for elderly and one recovering from hip surgery. Everything else was great!

Absolutely beautiful and very clean. Everything you need is there, restaurants are a close drive or by boat. We were very impressed by the home and lakefront area. We booked our stay for wedding vow renewal and it was perfect.

Our family has stayed here twice now. We absolutely love everything about this home. The owners are great and very responsive, the location excellent and views are breathtaking! We highly recommend staying here!!

This property filled every need we had. The communication from the host was great even before we booked the property. Bugs are very present as the day turns into evening, but that’s life at the lake. The house is in a very calm area surrounded by properties whose owners care about them. Highly recommended! 10/10

We had an amazing vacation! This is our second time renting this property and would absolutely love to rent again.

Our favorite lake getaway! Perfect location with quiet cove. Large private yard. Boat ramp is an added perk to have at the house. Our boat had issues on day two but we still enjoyed sitting in the yard and the dock. Looking forward to our next time renting!

We rented the property to celebrate our daughter's USC graduation. JoAnn is the owner and did a great job communicating and giving us tips to optimize our stay and fun. The property was exactly as listed. Very clean, great location, and spacious enough for the two families to enjoy.We rented a pontoon boat for my daughter and her friends to celebrate at Lazy Waves that JoAnn had suggested. That was directly across from the house so it made pick up and drop off very easy.We look forward to renting this house again in fall if the opportunity presents itself for our visit to a Gamecock football game. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did.

This house was perfect for our stay while we fished the Big Bass Tour. It was great place to put our bass boat in and take it out, right there at the house.

Fantastic getaway!!

Very gracious host who made our stay wonderful. What a great setting right on the lake! Beautiful sunsets from the dock. Quiet street, too. Would stay here again if we’re lucky enough to be down for the tournament again. It’s a quick 1-hour drive over to Augusta.

The house was as described, the host's communication was clear and complete.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this property. The hosts did NOT miss ANY details. Plenty of linens, towels, etc. My only regret is that we didn't get to stay longer. I would 100% stay at this property again if I ever go back to SC.

Great house perfect set up.. Jo Ann was easy to communicate with and a great host.

House was clean and came with all of the little things a lot of rentals don’t. We had hand soap in every bathroom as well as shampoo and conditioner. The view was absolutely gorgeous. We watched cranes and turtles and ducks all from the comfort of a couch. Plenty of parking spaces. Would absolutely recommend and stay there again. Nice job host.

This lake front home was adequate for our family celebrating Thanksgiving with family in the area. Quaint would be a good word for the house. It is an older property with some updates. Having bedding and towels provided was a bonus. We did have to purchase blankets because it was chilly. We could have turned up the heat and not having purchased blankets. The kitchen was a little rough. Cabinets sticking when opening and closing. But all in all for the time spent at the house it was adequate for 6 adults.

Everything was great. Easy check in... good communication w/ owner, amazing view. Can't beat the location / price. Highly recommend! Already planning a trip for next year!
