LAKE COTTAGE WITH DECK - 5 Star - 2 kayaks - 40 minutes to Columbia

Very amazing experience being on the lake!

Host was great! Our weekend was rained out but she offered to help us find rain-proof activities.

Enjoyed the lake view from the deck. There were many different bird species to enjoy watching. We especially enjoyed the blue herring that came twice a day. The host were very respectful of our privacy and provided the basic necessities. The kitchen has quality pot and pans plus all the utensils you could possibly need. The cottage is close to many attractions in the area, or you can just enjoy the peace and quiet of the cottage. I would definitely recommend!!

We had a wonderful stay. The location was beautiful. I loved sitting outside on the deck while I worked. The cottage itself was clean and had everything we could need.

Kitchen was well equipped and spotless. Hosts are lovely: friendly, responsive, and accommodating. The cottage itself is so pleasant and peaceful. I could have sat all day outside on the lakefront patio. The cottage itself is a home away from home full of comforts and beautifully decorated. I especially love the pictures of our hosts extensive travels.

Beautiful well maintained property with all the amenities needed. Cottage had a full kitchen, large sitting areas and bederoom. We loved everything about the property. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was very private and had a beautiful view of the lake from the large front window. The whole lower level was the bedroom and included a washer and dryer. It should be noted that the only bathroom is on the top floor so it could be a challenge for someone with mobility issues. We personally didn't find this a problem. All the basics were provided. Probably the most important feature of any vacation rental is the Host. We found Ellen to be very personable and has a lovely sense of humor. She is very responsive to questions and proved to be a superb host.

This was a wonderful property. Ellen and Andy were wonderful. They gave us suggestions of things to do and were always available if we needed them. The cottage was clean and well maintained. The view was perfect and made for a relaxing week. We will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful house, very friendly and welcoming owners

This rental property is in a wonderful location. The owners are wonderful people and are very accommodating. It is close to everything that you need yet very secluded. You are right on Lake Murray and have great access to the water. My wife and I can highly recommend this location and will look forward to staying here again someday.

Cottage was very clean and has everything you need. Our favorite part was kyaking out on the lake and seeing all the wildlife in the morning.
