Incredible Mountain Views Minutes from Downtown Salida & The Arkansas River

Very nice, clean place to stay with a good view.

The house was in an excellent location, providing tremendous views of the mountains. There were provided amenities allowing us to be exceptionally comfortable. All three of us would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic property. Easy check in and access, great set up and space for my parents and I. We spent as much time happily here during our vacation as our and about doing things and always felt right at home.

We were visiting family for a Birthday get together. Beautiful location, home was very comfortable, newly renovated and had everything we needed. I was impressed with owner/Austin’s quick communication when we had a question. Salida is a great community had shopping, restaurants and breweries in a very relaxed atmosphere. Many great day trips in the surrounding areas.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful home. It was extremely clean, well equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable. The view was beautiful- especially in the morning with a cup of coffee and again in the evening while relaxing.Austin was a very friendly and helpful host, and check-in and check-out were super easy. Highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

The location in the hills was fabulous and enjoyed every sunrise. The home had a familiar setting by design. It made a wonderful work and vacation property.

Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was just as the pictures showed and extremely clean. Kitchen was well stocked with anything you may need for cooking meals. Great communication with host and super easy checkin. Will definitely keep this house on our list if/when we return to the Salida area.

Met up with lifelong friends to spend a snowy weekend in the mountains. The view and ambiance of this home makes you think twice about leaving. We sat talking, watching the storms roll in and out, from dark to bright again. In the end, we managed the perfect amount of unwind and adventure and enjoyed every minute of our stay. As other reviews have stated, this is a place you will want to return to again and again--bright, modern, and full of amenities... like a beautiful kitchen, floor heat, and a guitar. What's not to love?

Well they don't have any rating higher than a 5/5....this place is a 10 hands down. Propane fireplace- heated flooring in the bathrooms. Too many great things to list. Sunsets and sunrises with mountain views! Close to downtown and Monarch ski resort. We loved this place!!

Our family of 5, from Iowa, stayed for 4 nights in early August. The home was family friendly and has everything you would need to be comfortable in summer (and also winter). It was well equipped with everyday amenities (everything is nicely labeled) and there is even a game cabinet. It was the perfect base for our adventures in the area. The neighborhood itself is very quiet and peaceful. It is nice for walking and nature watching. We were able to watch deer and rabbits from the front and back of the home. The mountain views from the front are INCREDIBLE, and they get even better from the deck on the hillside. Communication with the owner was fast and helpful!

We were pleased with everything the second we arrived! Our Host was very accommodating and helpful when we had questions. We spent much of our time out on trails and playing in the river, but we always looked forward to returning back to the house to enjoy the views and all the comfort it had to offer! This is definitely a home we hope is available for our future visits!
