Property was quiet yet still close to town and park. Very cozy and had everything we needed. Immaculate! Would stay here again!
Very comfortable, perfect for our family and very close to the town and the national park.
This is a very comfy home. It is older but very well kept. It is a quiet neighborhood. Saw wildlife, bear, elks & mule deer. Close to town BUT quiet & feels like the country. Great hosts and would recommend for families as there was room to spread out & kitchen had room to cook!
Our family of 5 enjoyed our 1 week stay at this beautiful and clean property. The owner, Margie was a good and prompt communicator. The property was ready before the usual check in time! We loved the spacious environment both indoors and outside the property. We enjoyed watching the elks which came by the property almost each day! We appreciated the privacy of the property, and did not feel isolated from the great neighborhood Margie shared with us helpful information about Estes Park which made our stay easy. We enjoyed the good views of the mountains from the property. The property had all the amenities we needed plus more. The kitchen had utensils, spices and other basic items for cooking. We enjoyed our family meals here with a big dining area and patio. Our 7 year old enjoyed playing with the toys provided. As a family, we enjoyed playing board games and watching a movie, all provided at the property! The property is close to Estes town! Each morning we enjoyed taking a few minutes walk to Estes town and even continued our walks to Lake Estes! We always looked forward to coming back to the cool property after each day outdoors and we could always adjust the temperature if we needed to. The fireplace was a great amenity too! We would love to stay here again in the future! Thanks, Margie!
We spent a marvelous week as a family at this beautiful home. Incredible views and wildlife sightings too! We experienced outstanding communication with the owner, very helpful with tips and advice to ensure we had a perfect vacation in Estes!
The location was wonderful and the kitchen fully stocked for cooking meals at the house including grilling outside. Ample living and dining space and yard for playing outside games. We also saw lots of elk. Would rent this house again!
What a wonderful place to stay in Estes Park. We loved everything about this house. Spotlessly clean, wonderful views and space yet incredibly close to the center of Estes Park while also feeling secluded on a large lot. Margie was incredible to work with. Prompt in her replies and great with recommendations. She even texted us to let us know about the upcoming weather (we were hoping for snow for the holidays) and about some grocery items we were picking up on the way. House was beautiful and everything is well maintained. Fresh brownies when we arrived just topped everything off. We use VRBO for many vacations and it is really hard to beat the care that Margie has for this spot, a great host that took care of us at every turn but without being overwhelming. We'll be looking for another chance to come back.
Location and property were amazing!! Close to downtown and park entrances. Quiet neighborhood, with lots of wildlife right out the front door. Margie communicated well and was easily reachable…
Loved the views and wildlife visitors
Adult easily walkable into town. For small children maybe not. But very clean and well equipped! Huge windows and on its own one and one half acre with lots of outdoor living space. A rare find!
The view, the wildlife, the park, the town, the trails, the streams, and then this wonderful treasure trove to come home to every evening! Only to see elk, mule deer, rabbits and wonderful bird watching as we swing in the front yard. Oh, the horseshoe pit brought back wonderful childhood memories playing with my dad. Relaxing, romantic, re-invigorating, what a delightful host and what an exceptional property….oh, nothing fancy, just ahhhhhhh
Easy access to downtown and the park. The property was very clean and spacious. Property owners very accessible and responsive. Would definitely stay there again.
Had a great time! Perfect accommodations!
This cabin was beautiful, a perfect size for our 2 families, in a lovely location within walking distance if the downtown shops. Very convenient to RMNP, the grocery store, gas, and Lake Estes. Very easy check in and check out. We loved it!
This was our first family trip to visit Rocky Mountain National Park and we had a terrific stay. This was such a comfortable place to stay. We had plenty of room. The place was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked. We prepared most of our meals at the house. We found plenty of pots/pans, spatulas etc. It was great to have spices available and some cooking oil and ziplock bags. The grill came in handy as well. We really enjoyed the outside space as well. When we were returning from the park it was to a nice space where we could investigate wild flowers in the front yard, watch the elk and swing in the large front swing. We ate most of our dinners outside on the deck enjoying the scenery as well. Not mentioned in the listing was that there is also a toy closet. My 6 year old contemplated sleeping in there. There were games and books for all ages, puzzles and toys. The location was perfect for our needs. Only 2 minutes to the grocery store. A short drive to town. Easy access to RMNP. Margie was easy to communicate with and made sure that we were aware of the RMNP reservation system so we were prepared when we arrived. We would book here again in a heartbeat!
Great older home in immaculate condition. The owners went above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. The wildlife around the property is amazing along with the view. Thank you for helping us have a great vacation.
This is a beautiful, spacious, airy home set in a quiet neighborhood, surrounded by trees and with views of interesting rock formations in front. It is beautifully furnished and has an ample supply of kitchen equipment etc. The large yard is frequently visited by elk and many birds. Margie is an excellent host. In advance of our visit from the UK, she advised us of the need for RMNP permits, best Park entrance stations to use, and even how to avoid supermarket queues. The location is ideal for entrance to the Park and for access to main services. We would have loved to stay longer and were sad to leave.
Our stay at this property went great. The house is located in a quiet area that is the perfect balance of being close to shopping and restaurants but far enough out to have wildlife come in the yard. The large front yard was a great place to play sports/games with the kids. We cooked most nights so we were thankful for a well stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. For tech heavy families, the WiFi was great. The owners were responsive to our needs and were a pleasure to interact with.
