Idyllic Catalina Cottage, Private Deck, Walk to Beach!

The property was perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. Quite little street within walking distance to the boardwalk and Vons. Really makes you appreciate the quiet life over the hustle of city living.

I would absolutely book this charming house again! The home is just lovely, very clean and tidy and the owners are top notch. The location is perfect - easy walk from the dock and super convenient to stores, restaurants, even mini golf!

This is a lovely home! It is neat and clean with a beautiful living room and kitchen. It is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, etc. We had a wonderful stay at this beach home.

The cottage was perfect for our extended family. The living room was great and accomodated all of us. We loved having the game table as well. Perfect location for easy walk to town, especially with the kids. Very close to grocery store as well. We were 6 adults and 2 children and it was the perfect space for us. The upgraded kitchen appliances were great. During a longer stay we would use the kitchen even more.

The house was centrally located, comfortable and clean. We had a minor maintenance issue to which the host responded and addressed immediately. Kathy was very welcoming and offered great suggestions for activities to check out during our stay.

Our stay was comfy and convenient. Our cute cottage was super clean and close to everything we needed. Rooms were spacious for island life.

This cottage is so darling, super clean...spacious and looks like the pictures! The roof deck is fantastic and quite large as well. The hosts were really communicative, and accommodated our schedules the best the could...we will be back! 10 stars all around!!

We had a great stay at the Summer Love Cottage! Our small group of longtime friends was celebrating the first to turn 60 - and this was the perfect spot for it! Great location in the flats (just two blocks from Vons and three or four blocks from the main strip) nice big windows to watch the golf carts and friendly islanders go by. Plenty of kitchen supplies, clean sheets and towels, and a very homey and cozy beach feel. Kathy and Linda were easy to communicate with and super accommodating. We will be back!

This cottage suits our family well. It's in a great location, the living area is big enough for all to hang out, and the deck is awesome. The host is very nice, and responsive to any issues that may come up. We have stayed here several years in a row and will continue to do so.

Property is close to town. Cute and clean, maintains original details of property but upgrades where important.

The house was very cute and perfect for a group stay. Had a large living room for everyone to gather in, a great upstairs deck area. The best part though was the location. A 5 minute walk to the main areas of Avalon, but far enough so that you weren’t right in the middle of the noise. Would definitely stay there again!

We absolutely loved the Summer Love Cottage! This place is beautiful, quaint, clean and very charming. When we walked into the house, we immediately felt a sense of warmth and comfort. The front room and dining area is a spacious open floor plan. It is well lit with light coming in from a wall of windows lining the front of the house. A very well appointed kitchen that connects to a bathroom which is connected to a bedroom. With a total of three bedrooms, the other two bedrooms, have a shared bathroom. The jewel of the house is the rooftop entertainment area. What a treat. A very large well furnished deck with a great dining area, barbecue, lounge chairs and not to mention some pretty awesome views. Our family really enjoyed spending time up there. The location is perfect. It is within walking distance to everything in town. Kathy was so kind and accommodating. Communicating with her from the start was easy which made our stay even more enjoyable. Would love to stay here again. Thanks again for everything!

My friends and I had such a wonderful weekend! The living space was a great size and layout to spend time together. The location was ideal - we walked everywhere without any complaints or issue. Also, Kathy was very accommodating and responsive throughout our stay. 10/10 Recommend!!

Cozy cottage very near the beach, shopping and restaurants. The host, Kathy, responded quickly to our needs. There were a couple of issues that were resolved in a day.

Terrific home that lives larger than it looks! Its clear this home has been cared for lovingly over the years. Brand new kitchen appliances invited family meals - we enjoyed grilling up on the deck and dining outside. Easy walk from the boat & great proximity to Vons (gorgeous store!) and beach. We hope to be back. Owners were responsive and kind. Highly recommend.
