We were in town for my daughter's wedding in Port Gamble. We looked for a home that would house our family/friends from WA, AK and AZ. The host was gracious enough to allow us to host a brunch for those checking out of their accommodations prior to their later flight times. The large kitchen/dining room, living room and doors opening to the deck was perfect for this. The living room is sunken so if stairs are an issue, bear that in mind. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. Easy to get to the beach.

The host was very welcoming, the home had stunning views, and the check-in and check-out were a breeze. The home was tidy and clean, and the experience was smooth and hassle-free! The location was amazing and there was plenty to do in town. The overall stay was wonderful, and this was great value. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Arriving after dark, our first impression was of the cleanliness and spaciousness of the home. Beds were comfortable and all amenities that we could think of were considered. We woke to the amazing views of the Hood Canal and the Cascades in the distance. Our only regret is that we didn’t book here in the summer when this waterfront property can be maximized. The home is a time capsule of the early 90s in many ways but in no way does any of it feel old or run down—in fact we found it full of our own parallel storiesThe five beds comfortably would sleep ten in pairs

The host was welcoming, well-organized, communicative, and helped greatly with check-in and check-out. They were very pleasant and helpful. The home was beautiful, in pristine condition, and spacious. The location was gorgeous and there was a lot to do in town! This was a beautiful home, excellent value, and would stay here again!

It was a fantastic spot. Lived in not perfect so it was comfortable and a great choice for us. But there were a few issues - with a Great response from host but upstairs toilets weren’t functioning and there was no good stove fan that worked properly for cooking. The host was responsive and was kind enough to refund a night stay. But I do suggest the house fixes those items. Otherwise it was perfect for us and a beautiful spot.

You won't be disappointed. This house is right at the water's edge in a quiet inlet with spectacular views of the ocean , forest, and mountains. We sat on the deck each morning and were treated to a display of otters, miniature porpoises, bald eagles, and even a male orca swam by about 30 or 40 feet away one morning. The host made sure we had everything we needed to house and cook for our family. We were a group of 8 and had more than enough room. Amazing property.

The house and beach/waterfront are very private and so very peaceful. We all (including grandchildren) loved our time on the beach: exploring at low tide, kayaking, digging in the sand, flying kites, and watching the sea otters and eagles! It couldn’t have been any better… so special having such a beautiful spot to spend with my family!

I want to begin with two things. First, had I received a response from the owner during or after our stay, I would have addressed concerns directly. Nearly three weeks later, I still haven’t heard back. Second, I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and know how valuable reviews are, for both renters & owners. I’m sharing this in hopes that improvements are made, as the property has great potential. The location is truly exceptional - close to Port Townsend, Poulsbo, beaches, hikes, & more. The beach is quiet and beautiful, with amazing wildlife sightings daily. The home is spacious - a great layout for a large group, a fantastic deck, comfortable beds, & reliable wifi.Unfortunately, the cleanliness fell FAR short. Bathrooms had not been properly cleaned, with very dirty toilets, hair in showers, & dusty floors. I spent time cleaning upon arrival, which wasn’t how I hoped to start vacation. I reached out via the VRBO app but received no response. Other parts of the home seemed surface-cleaned, but there were spiderwebs, buildup in corners, & a mix of new & worn linens. The house also needs general upkeep - rusting outdoor furniture, a worn coffee maker, & cosmetic repairs. Communication was minimal; I had to call for check-in instructions & submit a last-minute rental agreement from my phone. This home could be a true gem with better cleanliness, maintenance, & guest communication. I hope the owner sees this feedback as an opportunity to elevate future guests’ experiences.

Beautiful sprawling house with incredible views. Loved the comfortable bedrooms with en-suite baths. An otter colony passed by daily, we frequently saw seals, kingfishers, and bald eagles. One afternoon there was an orca whale in the canal. A great introduction to the Olympic peninsula for our family group ranging from 10-86!

5 bedrooms, 3 of which had their own bathroom! Ample room downstairs. Gorgeous view in a quiet neighborhood. What could be better: if housekeeping dusted the cobwebs out of the windows ...I'm arachnophobic. Also a 4 slice toaster would be most helpful. And perhaps labeling the cupboards. Took us forever to find baking sheets way up over fridge. Speaking of which, a stepstool would also be helpful. But no complaints about the house at all. What
