Puget Sound Chic Romantic Cottage with Private Beach Access & Gated Entry

This little cottage is perfect for two people, beautifully decorated and equipped. The east-facing water view is stunning. The owner's house is on the property, but she was respectful of our privacy and ready to help with anything (although everything was in perfect order, so no need).

It was a great place, the beach is right there for finding shells. Deer are all around, and we enjoyed watching the eagles in the trees and the sounds of all the seals and sea birds. Great place!

Beautiful relaxing beach cottage with breathtaking views inside and outside. This rental is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. Ample space for 2 people. Very quiet, safe and private. Easy communication with host and easy access. The private beach is magical with views that change with the weather and steady sounds of waves on the shore. The landscaped garden around the property was impressive too. Highly recommend!

Peggy’s cottage was just as advertised—a romantic beautiful setting—in a lovely part of Washington. The cottage was comfortable with a well-appointed kitchen and great shower! Peggy was responsive to all messaging—a great host!

14/10 loveliest place on the water with stunning views, extremely quiet, lots of birds, otters and the gentle sound of the water. Would recommend to anyone! Such a kind host too. And go to Oak Table in Sequim and Fountain Cafe in Port Townsend for amazing food!

My husband described it as “a little piece of heaven” and that means a lot coming from him! Great mattress and furniture, clean and well cared for. We used the kayaks and got close to seals sitting on a small rock island which was very cool! Great outdoor space and easy parking. We drove up to Port Townsend from there. Beautiful spot! Peggy was a great host!

We had a relaxing stay at this adorable beach house. The views from the deck were amazing, and we loved the beachfront chairs down the path. The house was comfortable, cozy, and well stocked.

Property is in a stunning location views onto the lake is incredible, property perfect size for two and you feel straight at home as soon as you walk through the door. Only thing you have to force yourself to leave property to explore as so easy to just stay, relax and enjoy the tranquility and amazing views

Great cottage complete with everything you need. Super comfortable bed, small kitchen but perfect for 2. I wished there was at least 1 cupboard for food storage, but there was enough room on the counters. Wild life in every direction. Eagles, blue heron, seals, otters, deer and osprey! From the moment we arrived, our experience was nothing short of exceptional! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need. The location was perfect—peaceful and private, yet just a short distance from great restaurants, shopping and attractions. We especially loved relaxing on the patio, enjoying breathtaking mornings and sunsets, along with the tranquil sounds of nature. Our host went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, offering helpful recommendations and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We can’t recommend this place highly enough! We’re already looking forward to our next visit.

What a wonderful place to spend a couple of days. The cottage was clean and cozy and stocked with everything you might need. We will be back again!

We celebrated our 32nd anniversary here. The cottage was cozy and romantic. The surrounding yard is beautiful with plants and flowers all around. There are huge trees as well and we saw 2 bald eagles a couple times. Very comfortable bed and couch for watching movies on the huge flat-screen. We walked the beach and sat morning and evening on the deck just enjoying the amazing views. There is a bbq on the deck and some reclining chairs with a firepit so sitting outside in the evenings was cozy. The location is great for heading into Pt. Ludlow or driving a short distance to Pt. Townsend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it! Peggy is an awesome host. She is responsive if we needed anything and makes sure to give us privacy.

Home was easy to locate and get into. It was clean, bright, and alwxacrly as advertised. Bed was very comfortable for both my partner and me (both larger people); view was incredible and water access incredibly easy. The owners home facing the cottage had stained glass coverings on the windows, giving us privacy as we ate on the deck. Had all kitchen appliances and needs as well. 10/10, highly reccome d.

The cottage lived up to its expectations! I will definitely come back. Secluded and quiet. The driveway could use some gravel because it was quite muddy. Other than that it was a perfect retreat.

Stayed here to escape the chaos of Christmas. It was beautiful and relaxing. Even though it rained - a lot - the large windows overlooking the water made it all better. Plus the free youtubetv meant we could watch football on Christmas like every good American ;-)

A great place to recharge and enjoy the beautiful view!

My husband and I came here to enjoy some time alone together away from the children. This was the perfect spot. Beautiful scenery, awesome hiking, and a good snuggling couch.

My spouse and i stayed for a weekend as a wedding anniversary get away weekend, and we couldnt have asked for more. The house is a perfect size for two people and the view was to die for. Quiet, clean, well stocked and uterly relaxing. The views for sunrise were amazing. Highly highly recommend.

If you're looking for the perfect place for a romantic getaway, or you just want a jumping off point for the Olympic Peninsula, this lovely beach cottage is an ideal choice. An expansive deck offers beautiful water views, although you can meander down the trail and put your feet in the water within a couple of minutes. It also offers a fire table, bbq, and table with comfy chairs. The cottage is beautifully appointed with everything you need, so if your goal is to simply enjoy the quiet, you'll never need to leave! The bed and pillows were super comfy and the living room was furnished with great seating for lounging around, reading, or watching TV. We enjoyed the nightly barking and growling of the seals out on the rocks, the croaking of a frog that seemed to start each night at 5pm and finish his show by 5:30p. We even saw a sea otter swim by! Our host Peggy walked up right as we were unloading our suitcases, gave us the kind of advice you only get from a local, and then, was invisible for the rest of our stay. We'd highly recommend this cottage to anyone, and hope to stay again sometime in the future!

The cottage was very homey and a comfortable space for two people. The location was peaceful and very quiet with a great view of the water and mountains in the background. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular and different each day. Lots of wildlife to see as well. Peggy lives on the same property but did not intrude on our time there. We had a wonderful stay at this enchanted cottage. It sits in the perfect position to enjoy marvelous sunrises and moon lit waters. We saw sea otters and seals and cranes. We had a resident bald eagle which was magnificent. Peggy, our host, was wonderful and could not have been more helpful. If you are looking for a very peaceful getaway, or plan on sightseeing or hiking, Peggys place is the perfect spot.
