Property was very nice.

The Loft facing River Street where Huge Cargo ships came consistently was amazing! The open area inside is spacious and comfy with all one needs for a vacation getaway! Our week long visit there lacked nothing. Love the decor and super comfy leather recliner, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and everything about this rental. As a super and Premier host myself, I know what to look for in a rental as my five in the Smoky Mountains of Western NC attracts many likewise.. We needed a vacation so booked this Loft unit and was not disappointed! Can't ask for a better host as Marlyn was superb!!! Thanks tons from your fellow 'sister host' Christine Prime as we will Be Back!!!! :)

The kitchen was fully out-fitted. Great location, kind of tricky parking. We never had wi-fi, though it was weak for a few short periods. I'd recommend the apartment. Perfect for exploring Savannah

Lovey historic apt with an awesome view of the river and cargo passage. A tourist boat parked blocking the view but left the next day. Washer and dryer very helpful Walking distance for everything so no need for a car!

We loved this property and would definitely stay there again. Everything went well and we felt like we were in the middle of everything going on

The setting is lifted straight out of a movie. A beautiful bricked in apartment over looking the Savannah River and the hustle and bustle of River St. Check I was super easy and we immediately felt at home. Savannah is now one of our favorite spots

We walked in and had to make sure we weren’t walking into some other house, because it was beautiful and wow! Coffee and kitchen utensils available. Nice little balcony to people watch. The bed and pillows we want to get at our house…soo comfy! Awesome place!

We knew parking would be tricky, at first; and other than a delay getting our entry code - to which the property manager was super quick to respond and helpful with getting that and the WiFi info - it was a great experience!!!

We really enjoyed the property. With the proximity to river street you have to go in with the knowledge that it wont be the most quiet location. One thing we did not consider was the etiquette of the upstairs neighbors. At times it sounded like they were having a track meet. Aside from that we had a great time.

This is a great space! Right on River Street with access to everything, walk to restaurants, shops, the hop on hop off trolly or the riverboat. Fun to sit on the balcony and people watch or watch the ships. I especially enjoyed coffee and reading in the morning out there. Despite being right over the street, it is very quiet and relaxing. We were there for a wedding and getting shared ride services was super easy. Hope we get an opportunity to stay here again.

Perfect location. We sat on our balcony overlooking River Street. The people watching and boat traffic was always entertaining. We were able to drive right to our door to unload our luggage which was great for my elderly father. We cooked most of our meals in house and saved money by doing so. The furnishings were lovely & comfortable, especially the chairs with the ottomans! The beds were super comfortable and the place had 3 air units to keep us cool. I would definitely stay here again!

I loved this place from the moment I went in. It was so unique but the funnest part was looking at the walls and seeing the history of everyone before me. 10/10 would rent this place again!

A hidden gem! Great location was terrific, an easy walk to River Street and the steps to the Historic District. The loft itself was very quaint, we had everything we needed. Loved the red door. Easy to find and convenient for parking. We used the city garage after unloading, a quick walk to get to and from.

Spent weekend here for my daughter’s graduation and had absolutely best time. The location on the property is in the heart of the river walk , and so close to everything within walking distance. The host was very responsive and great to work with! I wish I could have find this Vrbo rental sooner instead of trying to stay at the hotels while visiting my daughter. Definitely worth staying here!

I selected this place for my best friend and I for a week in Savannah. The place was everything we wanted. Right above River St, easy access to parking, convenient location. All the amenities we needed. Decorated with beautiful style and urban charm. We so enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend and would love to book here again in the future.

Delightful spot with a great view of the ship traffic in a building that was one of the cotton warehouses when it was part of the original port. As a retired ship captain I took a keen interest, my wife is a master of the polite nod and smile. Coffee joint is mere steps away, what's not to like?

The River Street Loft was one of my favourite places I have ever rented! The location was absolutely perfect right in the heart of everything Loved people watching from the balcony and watches the barges on the River. It is clean, extremely comfortable bed, very unique and has everything you need. Marlyn was an incredible host and so accommodating with everything! Do not hesitate to book this. You will not be disappointed!

The loft was beautiful. The alleyway was kinda sketchy with the homeless hollering at you. Overall was a great stay.

We all really loved staying in this loft. The beds were comfortable and it's amazingly quiet given the busy location on River Street. The host was very, very quick to respond to a question that I had. It was great being able to walk to most of the things we wanted to see and do, and the places we wanted to eat (recommend Chart House and the Little Duck Diner). We had no problem finding parking and it's free after 8 and on Sundays. People and ship watching from either the balcony or the river walk just outside is an enjoyable way to relax. If you are curious about the huge container ships that go by, take a port tour... it was really interesting. There is a hair dryer but it's not listed under amenities. If we ever get a chance to return to Savannah, we will definitely stay here again!

We reserved this unit for a spur of the moment trip to Savannah and couldn’t have been happier. The apt is in a perfect location right on the river with a nice little balcony from which to watch the large ships go by. Easy walk to anywhere downtown. The unit itself is very well appointed with anything you would need. The owner was very responsive to questions and the check in process was simple. Be aware it doesn’t come with parking but we knew we wouldn’t be using our car much so we parked a short walk away in a garage recommended by the owner. Very reasonably priced. There is parking right across the street but we preferred to have our car in a garbage.There is a large organized binder with lots of useful information provided by the owner in the unit.Highly recommend Graffiti for pizza right on the river just a short stroll away

I have enjoyed staying in this Lovely Loftseveral times over the years. I Love to see the Cargo Ships pass by on the River & People Watch on River Street. The Shops & Restaurants are close by to you wdont have to move your car. . Many activities to attend are usually available around the Historcial District.

We've stayed here multiple times. We love it and will stay here again. Location location location!

We were able to walk to all the best points of interest. Parking was a challenge arriving on Sunday afternoon in a busy tourist area. It would be a good idea to give directions to the parking lot on Whitaker Street which is very close. Also, make it clear the street goes through from Bay Street to River Street because it appears to be a dead end. Really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the river. Everything we neede was available in the unit. Rugs and Curtains need cleaning. Overall, a good experience.

amazing location for adventuring around Savannah.

Went with a group of friends to celebrate our 40th birthdays! We had the best time! We could sit out on the balcony and people-watch or enjoy our view of the river. The comfort of the place was great---temps were easy to control, beds were firm and comfy. Amazing host and the LOCATION was everything! We could step out the door and walk a few steps to a super fun little bar or step around the corner to several restaurants. You wouldn't ever need a ride anywhere if you wanted to do all the downtown things. We walked everywhere! The decor is not my personal taste, but it's easy to overlook with the history and quirkiness of the space. There are little spaces in the brick mortar where previous guests have left notes. It was so much fun to read those and we left a couple ourselves. :) Zero complaints and we would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves able to travel back to Savannah!

Absolutely love the Red Door loft! A friend and I spent 5 wonderful days recently and it was perfect. It is within walking distance of most everything we wanted to do. The balcony was our window on the world below. Will return again for sure!

We loved this place, once we found it. We had detailed directions, but it’s not located like anywhere I’ve ever stayed. It’s located on an alley with a street address on an unmarked street. After a couple of rounds through a very congested neighborhood we were able to find it once we parked and walked around. It was the only hitch in our trip. There is no assigned parking, and the neighborhood is very busy, but we were able to park nearby without much difficulty. The owner was very responsive to our texts. The location is stellar and walking distance from all of the downtown attractions. Once we parked the car we didn’t moved it until we left. The loft is perfect and well appointed. We would stay her again. GW
