Homelike beach house

Property is just as the pics show. It was perfect size for my family of 5. Pretty close to the beach and jetty. I felt the owners actually plan on your group being there. This place literally has everything you need. We really enjoyed our stay!Thanks

We have spent many years traveling to surfside beach as our annual family vacation. The house was very clean and accommodated us well. There were a couple of things we would have liked to know before we picked this house though. The house is an 8 minute walk to the beach but only to a “look over”. The only way get down to that part of the beach would be to wear hiking boots. We ended up renting a golf cart and driving 1 mile to the main entrance of surfside beach everyday. The outdoor shower is what it says…. Hot and cold water. However, the neighbor’s window looks directly down into the shower. We like to take swim suits off in outdoor showers and leave all the sand outside. This was impossible here. There is also a water filtration system that was advertised (listing has since been fixed) that was supposed to service the whole house. This was not accurate but we were provided with a five gallon water cooler which was nice. We know what the water situation is down there and we’re ready but it would have been nice know about the water system. We might have chosen somewhere else based off of this. The hosts were great and really quick to answer any questions. Overall we had the best week and look forward to coming back next year.

Very nice and clean house but those mosquitoes are a menace! Nothing on the home or the host and they did warn us that the mosquitoes were bad but they were worse then I expected.

Clean place

This house was exactly as it looked in the pictures, and the PM was super responsive and helpful! The property was clean (and we are picky), had plenty of space, and was equipped with all the basic necessities. Key info to share with anyone traveling to surfside: stop at the grocery store on the way. Once you get over the bridge, there is only a mini market, and it's very overpriced. Mosquitos are no joke; we ran to and from the car to avoid getting eaten. There are not a ton of amazing restaurants unless you are really into fried seafood, but Red Snapper was nice and had more of a true menu. Overall, this home and stay was wonderful, I highly recommend it.

We had a blast at Surfside!! The house was soo cute and clean and perfect for our family! We did not run into needing anything that was not at the house. The deck is SO nice and spacious! Our daughter loved the swing downstairs and there were lots of good beach items we at the house we got to use! We loved everything about this house!

Nice place to stay. Well furnished!

They had a lot of things available in the house which made it more of a home-like feeling. I really loved my stay with my family! Definitely recommend.

Clean & pretty

This beach house is so charming! And the hosts do a wonderful job of adding little personal touches to make you visit extra special. We went for my teen daughter's bday and they put out birthday decorations and left Popsicles in the freezer for the kids. The place smelled so clean when we arrived. We were there for only 30 min and my birthday girl was already saying she wanted to come back again for her birthday next year.
