The Hollow Tree Casita is a modern finished two bedroom, two bathroom casita built from three 8 x40 shipping containers. It has very private and very unobstructed jungle views. Located on Plantacion De Suenos a private 5.5 acre reserve in a quite neighborhood south of town. We have finished the space with the best possible finishes. Locally made custom beds/furniture, tastefully stained concrete floors, chocolate traverntine tile. Exotic wood kitchen and bathroom cabinets. It has private and unobstructed jungle views. Watch the Iguanna crawl into the hollow tree every afternoon about sunset. Or wonder at all the local beautiful birds that visit the Hollow Tree from the back living room door. Located on Plantacion De Suenos a private 5.5 acre reserve in a quite neighbor hood south of town. The house gets its name from the iguana in the hollow tree outside the living room space, where the living room meets the wild undeveloped jungle.
The Casi-ta is a conscientiously designed space with super insulation, the house is quiet, and cool when its hot outside. Close to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of town to be in the middle of Belize nature. Large master bath/shower with chocolate traverntine finishes. Large Kitchen with exotic hardwood finishes. High end locally sourced furniture from Graniels custom furniture, beds ect. Perfect for a small family or two couples looking for a quiet retreat. We booked the Hollow Tree Casita on short notice and truly enjoyed our stay. The house was super comfortable - quiet, cool (AC worked great) and tucked in a little jungle portion of a large lot with ocean views and lots of birds and wildlife. Cora and Johnny (caretakers) were awesome - they helped with recommendations and trips, and made our stay feel super easy. We're definitely going back!!

This property was perfect for our stay of two couples. Quiet and comfortable, with lots of wild life: birds, iguanas and crabs right out the door. We booked this house as it was a great inexpensive place for us to sleep, but we ended up loving the setting and waking up to views of the ocean in the master bedroom. We enjoyed dinner at Playa De Sala within walking distance on the back side of the island. We cant say enough about Cora and Johnny the house manager and tour guide they were amazing helped us with everything from a snorkeling trip to where to find the best groceries. We will be back!
