Comfy beachfront home for six

Beautiful and well maintained property. The unit was spacious and comfortable for our group of 4 (parents and teens). The pool and beach were not crowded and had plenty of lounge chairs. The property is well managed, and we were able to book snorkel excursions and beach massages through Manuel.

I’m so sad to leave a negative review because we really did enjoy our visit to San Pedro. This was not our first time to San Pedro Belize - we have been coming to visit for almost 20 years now and as always, we can’t wait to come back. I have stayed in many different houses and condos over the last 20 years and many of them I will stay at again. I will not be returning to Indigo Condos because they kept most of our deposit to pay for the broken glass in a badly designed door. I’m not sure how I am responsible for the 10-20 knot wind that day that caused the door to fly open and smash the glass while we were sitting out on the deck. The door was shut (can’t bolt it while we are outside ) and the outside stopper was down but the door still opened and the glass shattered. Maintenance was there immediately to fix and they and other residence of the condo told us it happened 6 times in the last few months. We were told it was a bad design and all the glass was eventually being replaced with tempered shatterproof glass. I guess they just wait for a windy day and a new guest to pay their deposit for the next window to be replaced. Be aware of what you sign at check in. There may be a tropical storm that does damage to the roof and you might be responsible for that too.

Condo was just what we needed. Very spacious, great location, helpful concierge and the water was beautiful.

Very nicely furnished with great access to the beach. Pool was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. We arranged for all of our excursions through the concierge service and it was very easy.

Indigo is a very nice complex and this condo is well-built, spacious, clean, and beautifully appointed. This was my 4th visit to Ambergris - the first time we rented a villa; the next two times we stayed at a full-service resort. Indigo is a complex of 5, 3-story buildings with a condo on each floor. It has a small pool and on-site managers. We preferred Indigo over the others - smaller, quieter, but someone there to assist when you needed them. Want a nice beach bar? Head north to CostaBlu. A good restaurant? There are many but we really enjoyed Coco Cabana just south. And you must go to the Blue Bayou at Secret Beach! It’s worth the drive. Only unfortunate part of the trip was the sea grass. It’s now an annual issue - very smelly! Another good reason to spend time at Secret Beach; no sea grass on that side of the island.
