This beautifully renovated, charming townhouse on Salida's main street offers walkable access to all of downtown Salida.

The house is 1660 square feet. Upstairs you'll find 3 bedrooms (1 King, 2 Queen sized beds) with blackout shades; 1 bathroom with separate shower and bathtub (the bathtub is original to the 1907 building); a balcony accessed through one of the bedrooms; and an upstairs deck with views of the southern Sawatch Range to the west and Tenderfoot Hill at the base of town.<br>
Downstairs includes a large living room with smart TV (no cable), dining room and new kitchen. There is a mudroom and laundry area with washer and dryer and access to the rear of the property where you'll find a fenced backyard and off-street parking. There's a special space set up under the stairs for our youngest visitors complete with chandelier, bookcase and table.

Diagonally across the street is Alpine park, the site of the summer farmers' market. With a playground and basketball court it's a great place for kids. There is also an EV charging station right on the corner.

Four blocks away is Riverside Park with a river walk, playground and the site of multiple summer festivals. Along the way you'll pass multiple shops and restaurants. If you prefer to eat at home you're only a 3 minute walk to 2 grocery stores.

This is a fantastic place to stay for those that appreciate attention to detail: from the original artwork to the antique furniture to the small amenities that make your stay more comfortable.

Please note: the bathroom and all 3 bedrooms are on the second floor. There are steps into the house at both the front and back doors.

No pets allowed.

For security purposes there is a video doorbell at the front door and a camera at the backdoor aimed at the back gate and the parking area. These do not capture any interior spaces of the property.

    Beautiful historic home, we loved how original the home was kept. Spacious kitchen. Our daughters were over the moon for the play space and books under the stairs. Easy walk to downtown especially for the kiddos, also ideal being adjacent to the park. Check in couldn’t be any easier. Highly recommend.

    We stayed here over the 4th of July holiday and could not have been more pleased with it. Location as good as you would find to be walkable yet just out of the potential late night noise of the downtown district. Communication with owner was outstanding. Would stay again!!!
