Wonderful stay in a gorgeous home. Couldn’t have chosen a better location. Host checked in with us throughout stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. We will be back!

This is my third summer that I have stayed at this beautiful Wickford home and being a part of the village makes it very special. Walking to town to visit shops and restaurants is both relaxing and convenient. This year I visited the Beavertail museum in Jamestown and learned a wealth of lighthouse history. I do enjoy the nearby North Kingstown beach for swimming and birdwatching. Thank you so much Ross for sharing your lovely home once again and looking forward to returning in September.

Such a special historic home, beautifully restored with all the amenities. We loved walking to the stores and waterfront restaurants in Wickford. The close proximity to Newport and Jamestown was perfect for short day trips. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

I just returned from spending a week at Ross’s beautiful Wickford home. I visit twice each year and I always enjoy so many special experiences each time. This visit I took the commuter train at Wickford Junction to visit my daughter in Boston. What a gem this station is so close to the house. I do enjoy early mornings and late afternoons at the nearby North Kingstown beach. Walk to Gardner’s Wharf Seafood for delicious take out. The village Main Street and neighborhood walks provide all nearby dining and shops. The John H. Chafe Nature Preserve just a few miles north was a pleasant forest beach trail walk. I am a RI girl and will look forward to my return next summer.

Ross thank you again for sharing your amazing home in Wickford Village.. This was my third visit and each time I find it more special for this Rhode Island girl to return home. Location is outstanding to restaurants, shops and bakery/ cafe. I purchased a non resident beach car pass at the town hall this year and the convenience of driving to the nearby beach was absolutely a plus. The rooftop deck was quite pleasant for reading and watching the boats in the harbor. My daughter loved the contemporary furnishings with the historic home features. Hopeful to return next summer once again.

Property is excellent: Location: Location is perfectly situated in quiet, historical Wickford, RI. You can relax certainly relax there (plenty of shopping and restaurants) or venture to nearby Narragansett, Jamestown, Newport, Providence, or Boston. Property Condition: Although the home was built in 1785, it has been meticulously renovated to blend modern amenities (AC, modern furnishings, beautiful kitchen) without sacrificing the historical character. Great care was taken when remodeling this home. Amenities: the house comes with everything you need to feel at home. Plenty of dishes, utensils, grill with all tools. Appliances appear to be fairly new and gently used. We will stay again here again. I can't say enough good things about our experience here.

Ideally located in the heart of Wickford Village, the Aaron Peck House (1785) envelopes you in both history and comfort. Lovingly maintained by the host family, the historic home makes you feel welcome and part of a story that stretches back to our country's infancy. The combination of historic and modern is so well done that you almost feel like the home has merely evolved with time. Set amongst other storybook homes and gardens, quaint shops and cafes, sailboats in the marina ready for sea, the home's backdrop is quintessential Rhode Island and New England. Although the location is ideal for exploring all of the Ocean State's natural beauty and cultural treasures, the home and village make it difficult to leave. Bring your camera, sense of wonder, a few good books, and not much else as the hosts and home provide everything you need to add your chapter to this historic home's story.
