Granite Ridge Cabin

Beautiful cabin and easy to find. Check in was effortless. Instructions were clear. We would have given 5 stars but the cleanliness was a little lacking. Specifically, the dead bugs and flies we found in and around the beds. Everything else was fantastic.

The places location is awesome. A few drawbacks were: tons of flies inside the entire time. We swept up over 50 a day. Ya, gross. They were coming in from somewhere but we couldn’t locate where. I’ve included a few pictures. Also, the floor outlet by the loft bed has a broken hot wire and should be fixed asap for obvious safety reasons. The grill worked great. Overall, a 10 for sure but the flies needed a “swat” team to be engaged. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Property was clean and comfortable. Hot tub was too hot to use for us and a fee charged if changed it so did not use. We were super busy so didn't matter that much to us.

Beautiful home well stocked with everything we needed. Very comfortable and great location. A very fun getaway.

Really awesome cabin nestled up in the woods! Very secluded but has all the amenities one would expect, checkin & out was extremely easy. We would definitely rent this again if we’re back in the area.

Loved the cabin and amenities! Cozy and great location for home base motorcycle vacay. Gravel road was no problem at all. Used the hot tub and 3 hole golf course daily! Shared course with Granite Lodge which was a little closer than expected but no issues. Main floor bedroom the best! Rushmore vacation property mgt was amazing with prompt help/answers when needed! Brought our own keurig d/t coffee preferences. Great grocery store in Hill City! Peaceful setting and looked forward to home base each night! Perfect location for all we wanted to do in the black hills! Would definitely stay again!

This property is as listed. The location was even closer to all of the major attractions than I perceived. The house and property are well kept and the area is crazy beautiful.

A grab bar outside the shower would be helpful for those with mobility issues. Also the king size bed frame was separating.

-The granite ridge cabin was easy to find; not too far off a major road, but far enough to feel like you are out in the woods. Inside is very comfortable and cool enough in the summer. **Important to remember to have a hard copy of the code to get in + the phone number of the property mgmt company. There is no cell service on the porch and you will need to sign into the wifi once you get inside to have service at all. -The three-hole golf course is fun. Be aware that you need to bring clubs, but you only need a nine iron and a putter. We left several balls, but bring some of your own. -The kitchen was mostly well-equipped with a large Crockpot, medium- and small-sized fry pans, 13 by 9, and 9 by 9 baking pans, and a regular coffee pot with coffee filters provided… no Keurig. I suggest bringing napkins, plastic wrap, and Ziploc bags. There is aluminum foil on-site. There are cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, dishwasher tablets, TP, and paper towels. It is supplied with extra pillows, blankets and throw blankets. There is no shampoo, conditioner, soap or body wash, but there is hand soap at each sink. There is no way to iron or steam clothing. The upstairs bedrooms have no bedside stands or lamps… we used the barstools and that worked well for phone charging. The master bath curtain is really cute, but it is pretty sheer and at ground level, so that is a little uncomfortable at night. Overall, we would love to go there again!!

My family stayed here this past June. The cabin is very nice and is a good set up. My wife and I have 3 girls (ages 5-9) and they all loved staying there. The putting/chipping green outside the cabin was a fun activity, as well there are some great rocks/small cliffs to climb in the back yard that are safe for young kids to explore. The hot tub was also a big hit! The cabin is almost halfway between Keystone and Hill City, so the location was really good to be able to get to lots of different restaurants and activities. Thanks for a great stay!
