We had a great stay here! Just as pictured, clean, and spacious. Our dog loved the huge yard, too! Easy drive to Bar Harbor/Acadia and the hosts were responsive and attentive to our needs.Some suggestions for the future: The coffee maker is very slow (took 1 hour to brew a pot and the grounds were in it) so upgrading that would be nice. In the kitchen, more hand towels, cups (wine glasses too), plates, and utensils would be appreciated. Overall, would definitely stay here again and highly recommend!

Great stay on a road trip to Nova Scotia. Clean & quiet with a short 10 minute drive for groceries, 30 minutes to Arcadia. Already booked this property again for the road trip back! First floor bedroom & pet friendly was great for traveling with my senior dog!

Our family of 6 spent several nights here while visiting Acadia. Super clean. We had plenty of room to spread out. Location was great - especially if you prefer a quiet setting. Short drive to MDI, Bar Harbor and Schoodic Peninsula.

Strange odor from the master

Great location to all local sights. 20-30 minutes to most places on Mt. Desert Island. Same for Schoodic Pennisula, which is also part of Acadia National Park. My wife and I stayed for 6 nights with our 16 year old border collie. House was clean and inviting. All amenities were provided by the host. Big mostly fenced in yard for dog to roam without worrying about him wandering off. Lamoine State Park just down the road which we used to take dog for walks every day. Good restaurants and shops in nearby Ellsworth. Will definitely book this again on our next trip to the area!

We met up with our adult kids to celebrate 2 big anniversaries and my husbands big birthday. We had such a good time together. The house was the perfect home to come back to every day after hiking and sightseeing. We cooked together and played dominoes. The house was even better than the photos. The beds were comfortable and everything was fresh and clean. .

The house is very spacious, plenty of room to spread out and decompress. There is even a sitting area between the two bedrooms upstairs. It was spotless upon arrival. Furniture is all new and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with the dishes, utensils, and cookware we needed. Loved the local art used to decorate. Though it seems very secluded, it is only a short ride into Acadia and Bar Harbor, as well as being close to local shopping and restaurants. My only regret is that we didn't get to spend more than a couple days there. I wish we could have used the deck, grill, and 3 season room, but we just weren't there long enough. Would definitely stay there again if we come back.

The house was beautiful. It looked just as shown in the photographs. The property provided all of the amenities that a family with children needs to reside comfortably for an extended period of time. It has well-equipped furnishings and is well-stocked with towels, soap, and other supplies. The rooms are big and immaculately clean. The kitchen is quite comfortable, tidy, and well-organized. It contains all of the necessary supplies for cooking, cleaning dishes, and operating a dishwasher. The house includes a washer/dryer set and all laundry supplies. Bedrooms have king-size beds and plenty of closet space. The sun room is very spacious and is surrounded by forests. Bathrooms are spotless, with large shower rooms.The location is convenient to downtown Bar Harbor, Acadia, Schoodic Point, and other important attractions. There is a Walmart super center within a 10-minute drive. The house has plenty of parking. This was one one of the best houses we'd ever been to, and we felt totally at home. We look forward to returning in the future, and it merits five stars.
