Beautiful, quiet, and a great place for a family to relax and enjoy time together!
This house is amazing. Well taken care of and everything you need is supplied. You feel like you are all alone in the mountains, you can't see or hear neighbors and no road noise. Owner very responsive.
We really enjoyed our time at this cabin. The cabin had everything we needed to make our meals in the kitchen. We enjoyed being able to hook up our phones to the sound system that plays on all levels. The 12 people we had slept comfortably. The views in the morning were amazing. Downtown Idaho springs is like 10 minutes away. It has a yard that the kids played in, very rare for a cabin. The host was a great communicator and reached out to us prior to our visit and responded promptly when I had questions. We highly recommend this place.
Loved this property and all its amenities. Beds are comfortable, kitchen is VERY well equipped, and lots of space to spread out. The outdoor living area is beautiful and enjoyed watching the Stellers Jay from the deck. The host is very responsive and answered all our questions.
We have an amazing time in this beautiful mountain home. We loved cooking in the large kitchen. Rooms were comfortable and our group had plenty of space. We would all stay there again (especially if a hot tub is added). They had fun clues to solve a puzzle around the house which added an extra layer of fun.
Great location and convenient to Denver. Very private and quiet. House was clean, but yard could use maintenance. Large dining room for our group of nine to eat and play games. All the different seating areas throughout the cabin allowed for our group to spread out and relax. As it is three levels, there are lots of stairs so be prepared. The house got really warm in the day, but they provided floor fans. Very well-appointed kitchen and meals were great to prepare. The outdoor grill was not clean and could benefit from deeper cleaner and regular maintenance. We spent most of our time outdoors, and this place has lots of outdoor space for seating, and a large level grass yard for yard games. We never could get one fire pit to work, so glad there were two on the property. The yard, walkway and fire pit areas could benefit from some landscape maintenance. There were LOTS of weeds and the grass could have been mowed. The outdoor sofa furniture around the fire pit in the shade could use new cushions as they were very dirty, worn, and uncomfortable to sit on. A family of fox visited every day and was the highlight of the stay. Fox and hummingbirds during the day, and star gazing and falling stars at night. Our host was very accommodating. She even ordered a new corn hole game when she found out our group played it. If I could rate the house separate, I would give it a 4, but the yard was a 3.
The house is amazing! There was plenty of space for everyone and purest areas to all hangout together. The wrap around deck is so enjoyable and the yard is equipped with fire pits and yard games. We had the best time.
This property is the perfect blend of easy to get to and out in the middle of nowhere. Our family of 12 stayed 4 nights and found ourselves very comfortable and well accommodated for a group our size. Love the backyard, deck, and kitchen. Definitely would go back again!
We loved our stay at this property. The property was even better than advertised and is close to so many outdoor activities. We saw lots of wildlife around the house and enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. Close to the town of Idaho Springs with lots of good restaurants and shopping. We will definitely be back!
This house was immaculate and so spacious for our group of 16. We had a wedding at Black River Ranch and so the location was perfect for what we needed. Super peaceful and wish we could have stayed longer, it was truly an oasis!
The cabin is just as pictures depict! A roomy cabin on a beautiful property. The location is remote enough to be away from town and near the mountains, but still a very quick drive into Idaho Springs. We even saw a fox through the living room window - it was awesome!
This home is straight out of a CO magazine! Nestled right up to a mountain of course. As soon as you arrive you feel like you are definitely in CO. Fully stocked and ready for you! We were visiting for our annual ski trip with a group of friends and a wide age range of children. The basement was perfect for the kid hang out. Spacious and had all they would ever need right down to a coffee bar! The fire stove was amazing (firewood not provided) The steam shower had an error code when we arrived so we didn’t get to experience that luxury. Close to the quaint town of Idaho Springs just a quick 10 min drive and you’re at BoJo’s! All that is missing is a hot tub ;) hint-hint Hosts were easy to contact and responsive
I can’t say enough about this cabin. It was incredibly private and spacious. The kitchen was wonderful and truly designed for those that love to cook. We were a large group and the layout of the cabin was ideal. The steam sauna was also a huge hit. We had great communication with the host. She was very quick to respond and her place was just as described.
Very clean, beautiful house. Secluded but yet easy to access with gorgeous views! Would def recommend this house for family looking to get away!
We enjoyed it. The drive to ski resorts was terrible I 70 bumper to bumper hour to hour and a half to Loveland pass. Both ways
We rented this property for our family to stay at prior to our wedding at a venue down the road. The host was super responsive and the house was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend!
Everything went well, location was perfect, everything worked great except neither one of the outdoor propane fire pits worked ,even after I got a new bottle of propane. But no big deal.
We spent three night in your beautiful home to celebrate the life of our grandma, to many,Great grandma to a few and mother of two. She lived a long life, passing in April at the age of 101! When we first walked in we were overcome with all the owls that decorate the home. Grandma loved owls and had them all over her home. It seemed meant to be that we chose this home without knowing about the owl theme before hand. We cooked together, ate together, and shared our memories. We remembered and celebrated her fabulous life that brought us all back together. It was a perfect spot for our family. There was plenty of space and beds, and outdoor area. Thank you for sharing your home.
My fiance and I ran away to Mt Evans Road elope, and this was the perfect place to stay with our family after! Plenty of space, comfy beds, super close to Idaho Springs, and very clean! We fished, rafted, tried ciders and pubs in town, and cooked in the kitchen! Highly recommend. Everyone had a blast!
We chose the three owls retreat due to how close it was to the Black Stone Rivers Ranch wedding venue. It was the perfect home for our family to unwind after all of the wedding activities, only wish that we could have stayed longer!
We went up for a getaway and to see a show at Red Rocks. 5 couples. We had plenty of room. Wonderfully stocked, clean and big house. Owner communicated perfectly. We will stay again.
We had a fantastic stay at this retreat! The house was lovely and comfortably slept all 9 of our guests. The views were fantastic and it was a reasonable driving distance to skiing in the area. Kitchen amenities were great and supported cooking big meals for the group. Very short drives to good hiking spots, too!
