Entire Saunderstown Home with Pool

Beautiful home! Very spacious with access to everything we needed. Great communication with the host. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was winter but hoping to visit again one day.

We had an awesome time staying at this house. It is incredibly spacious with plenty of room for a group of 16 people. The backyard is great! We played several different lawn games and got to use the pool as well. I would definitely come back!

The house offered plenty of space for our group, the large yard was perfect for lawn games, and the pool was both clean and a huge hit with the kids.That said, while the property met our expectations in terms of size and layout, we were disappointed with the overall cleanliness and general upkeep—both inside and out.Cleanliness issues:Several cabinet interiors were dirty, particularly under the kitchen sink.The outdoor deck floors had not been swept, and the railings were so grimy that no one wanted to lean on them.The screened pool house was musty and unclean; we spent an hour cleaning the tables, chairs, rug, and windows before we could comfortably use the space.The drip coffee pots had not been cleaned.There were ant infestations in both the front sitting area and the upstairs kitchen.Other issues that impacted our stay:No grill-cleaning tools or grilling utensils were provided.The downstairs refrigerator was missing three door shelves, limiting usable space.None of the outdoor decks had tables, making it difficult to enjoy meals outside.Bathrooms lacked towel bars or hooks, making it inconvenient to hang wet towels.The upstairs kitchen dishwasher did not function properly.Only one bath towel and one hand towel were provided per guest.In summary: we appreciated the home’s size, outdoor space, and pool, but the property’s overall condition fell well below the standard we have come to expect from vacation rentals - especially at this price point.

Great property for our family of 12, house is very spacious and the two kitchens provided plenty of room for groceries and cooking. The pool and yard are both clean and large enough for our group. House was fairly clean, beds and linens were comfortable, the a/c units cooled the house. The entire home needs to be updated and could use a facelift. Just like the house, the appliances have seen better days but they work.

Overall cleanliness of house was mediocre. Kitchen not well stocked & dirty under sink. Mouse droppings in kitchen & observed a mouse. Outside decks not usable due to mildew( not cleaned). Radiator in master bath rusty due to urination. This could be a wonderful property if maintained. The pool however was well maintained & we enjoyed.

This lovely property is carved out of the forest. We saw deer, wild turkeys, rabbits, birds and many hummingbirds. The azalea were in bloom and the yard with outside in-ground pool was nice. The neighborhood is a very desirable one and very convenient for this area. The house is large with 6 bedrooms and worked well with our extended family for a wedding trip. Communication with the host was excellent. We had a great extended weekend get together there!

The size and layout of the house was excellent. We have rented several VRBO houses and always been pleased with the condition of the homes until this house. It is in need of a serious update to the kitchen appliances, and stocking. All of the baths and kitchen areas and the house in general shows years of use and no intention of updating. Top that off with some serious cleanliness issues and I would not recommend it until ownership offers a better quality of hospitality. It's strong points are the layout for a large group and a lovely residential area close to Newport. We had a good time in spite of its drawbacks, but definitely needs work.

Place was clean, kitchen was stocked with all the basic necessities. I think more bath towels could have been provided.
