It was a beautiful place with great kitchen, bed and fireplace. Only drawback was it was close to the train line which shook the house when the train went by. Also did not truly have 2 bedrooms; a full bedroom and a half bedroom with twin bed. Would work well for couple traveling with a child. Very nice and responsive owners.

Adorable remodeled home with great access to airport, Wickford, the beaches, and Newport. Perfect for my husband and I for the week!

Once again we had a great stay at this wonderful property! Lots to do and see nearby. It's September so we went apple picking at a local orchard, ate at the many good restaurants and got homemade donuts from Allies Donuts to have with our coffee in the morning. We hiked the trails of Ryan Park and even found the hugeTroll sculpture created by famed artist Thomas Dambo.We enjoyed sitting on the back back in the morning having our coffee and watching the beautiful butterfly's flitting around in the butterfly garden.My wife LOVES the deep old fashion style bathtub and we both love seeing the train whizzing by. I've been trying to catch it on video but I'm not fast enough!

Cute , clean house next to Amtrak train station which wasn’t a bother to us. Heard it pass a few times, never at night. Would rent it again .

Super cute clean little house! Visiting family nearby this was the perfect spot for my husband & I one of our kids. The property is described very well in the listing. The twin bed is in the loft at the top of the stairs. There is a door between it and the main bedroom/bathroom. The train is right there but goes by super fast... it was totally fine with us. The house had everything we needed and check in out was easy so interaction with the host was limited. Thanks for a great stay, maybe we will see you next time!

We absolutely loved this house! It was immaculately clean, had everything we needed and close to so much! The owner was easy to reach and responsive! The nook under the stairs was a great place to sit! We are hoping to stay at this house again!

We loved our stay at the wickford Junction house. The listing was exactly what we expected. Our teenaged daughter loved the hideaway under the stairs. The trains were noticeable but not bothersome at all. The location is ideal for exploring southern RI and taking the train into Boston. We hope to come back again soon.

The house was the perfect size for the 2 of us. It was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils. Loved it!

We stayed at the Wickford Junction house for a few days and loved the updates that had been done to the house. I was especially fond of that tub! We were here to see friends and do some site seeing. The location was perfect! We took a commuter train to Boston and also headed south to the beaches. All of the little touches in the home made it so comfortable and easy to make ourselves at home in. We will be back!

We enjoyed a great stay here. The space was perfect, clean and conveniently located, exactly what we were looking for. I'm a light sleeper and was concerned about the trains but they did not bother me at all. We would definitely stay again. :)

This was our second stay at this property which should tell you how much we enjoyed it the first time! The home is very clean and appears newly renovated, my wife LOVES the deep old-fashion styled bath tub! The property is close to many great destinations and restaurants.Our last stay in the Fall we went apple and peach picking and hiked local trails among other things.This trip we took the Ferry out to Block Island for the day, went to the Providence Place mall for some shopping and took in an Imax movie.We also enjoyed just hanging out at the property and having a few cocktails on the back deck while waiting for the train to go by. ZOOM! Next stay we hope to take a 'ride to nowhere' on the train since my wife and I have never been on a high-speed train.

Great time as usual with this home away from home…

This place was beautiful on the inside, just like pictures, immaculate. However, it is located directly next to the train tracks which should have been mentioned in the listing. The entire house SHAKES like an earthquake is happening every time the train goes by. It is so loud and so rattling, goes until approximately 11:30pm and starts around 6am. Makes for not great sleep which was the only thing I needed the home for.

We loved our stay! Beautiful, modern, clean property with a nice sitting area outside. My wife and I LOVED the train speeding by at over 100 mph or the powerful rumble of the engine as it sits at the station. But it might not be for everyone, take note if your a light sleeper! There are good restaurants and activities nearby, we went to a nearby apple orchard and picked apples and peaches! [September] In fact we are currently planning our next stay at this property for my wife's birthday. Looking forward to it.

This Cottage is Immaculate, The hosts have put their whole hearts into this absolutely beautifully built and decorated home. Everything is brand new and of the highest quality. Everything you need is there. The area is historical and everything you could need is in walking distance. Heidi the host is incredible and is there to answer any and all questions you may have. The listing states everything as it truly is. We just loved our time there and hope to go again soon. It’s worthy of 10 stars

Had a great weekend stay at Heidi’s little laneway/carriage-type house. The space is well designed, clean, comfortable and well appointed (as described). Check in and out were straightforward and Heidi was great in communicating. The trains are definitely a “feature” but nothing that bothered us. Thanks Heidi!

We loved this place. In fact I booked it for July and December. It is just as described, immaculate and meticulously renovated. Clean with everything you need. The train was a Beautiful Song as Neil Diamond describes. It is close to beaches and dining. Heidi and Ric do a great job as owners.

House is absolutely adorable. A perfect place to stay for a getaway weekend or a season. Close to markets, restaurants and beach and highways. We will be back!

Very cozy little place

The house was perfect for us as a home base over the weekend that was convenient to URI and other happenings. Very nicely remodeled, comfortable, and clean with prompt communication from host, Heidi. We look forward to returning!

My husband and I stayed for 12 days at this lovely two story home in Rhode Island. The house was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, plenty of hot water for showers, and we even went home with clean clothes because there was a washer and dryer there. We truly felt like home while we were staying there. Yes, there is a rapid train that zooms by periodically, but I have heard more noise during a thunderstorm. We got used to the WHOOSH! and it did not bother us one bit. And the train does not run at night and the WHOOSH lasts about 10 seconds! We loved our stay and would recommend it highly. It was easy to get on and off Route 4 which takes one to Providence and all that the big city has to offer. AND, it is close to the South County beaches. We also got to see gorgeous fall foliage which, as former Rhode Island residents, we had missed.

The house was a delight. Beautifully decorated and really well-equipped. It is near the train station, so trains go by. The house is well insulated, so the noise is muffled and only lasts a few seconds. The trains stop at night. They did not impinge on our enjoyment, one bit. The owner was lovely and very accommodating. I’d love the chance to stay there again!!

Loved the location and all the first class appliances. Would have liked a coffee pot along with the Kuric that was there. I gave the cleanliness a four star rating instead of a five because the porch table and chairs were very moldy. The rest of the house was spotless. Thanks Heidi we enjoyed our stay.

This home lives up to all the positive reviews. Impeccably clean, convenient, beautifully decorated and efficiently equipped with everything one could need. The owners have thought through well all the needs of their guests. They are great communicators and very ethical. I'm grateful to have found this place.

Everything one could possibly need is in this charming, spotless house. Its location within 25 minutes to an hour to attractions and beaches is a bonus. It's nice to walk to the commuter train to visit Boston without the hassles of parking there

This place was perfect for me. It was absolutely adorable and so bright and cheery! It had everything I needed (and more). There was plenty of space, the property was quiet and private (and had lots of birds and butterflies). It had everything that was mentioned in the description. I couldn't have been more pleased. It was also within a central location for driving to all of the major attractions (Jamestown, Newport, Providence). After a long day of sightseeing or beachgoing, I was able to come home and relax and have a quiet evening. The host also provided me with the information I needed prior to my stay. And thanks to another reviewer, I was able to pick up food items at Dave's Marketplace. I was very pleased with my stay. I highly recommend this rental.

We loved having this sweet little house to ourselves. It was immaculate and the host ran the AC for us upon arrival after a hot travel day! Highlights: -washer/dryer -personal back patio -keypad entry (no keeping up with keys) -comfy bed & cozy blankets -well equipped kitchen Only downside was the loud train next door running late into the night and early mornings. Be prepared, it’s incredibly loud and shakes the house for up to 10 seconds. Doesn’t last long but can disrupt sleep. Overall, incredible stay and would be happy to stay here again.

Very warm & inviting. The trains are absolutely no big deal. Like other reviews, they’re gone in seconds. Actually really neat how fast they travel. Close to pretty much everything. 20 minutes to Newport, Narragansett & Point Judith. Highly recommend staying here.

We had a lovely time! It was a good central location between providence and Newport! It was clean, well stocked, and a perfect size for a short weekend.

We really enjoyed the house. Since we wanted to visit both Providence and Block Island, the central location was great. The train is close and somewhat loud, but it goes by quickly. We did not hear a train between 11 PM and 6 AM during our visit.
