COZY BEACH HOUSE near YACHT HARBOR

Love! Love! Love! Absolutely fabulous & charming! I kinda don’t want to tell you how excellent this property is- I want it available for me! I can’t afford to buy such a charming beach house like this- so a 4 day stay gave me a slice of heaven! The beach is so close! Extremely walkable- quiet sweet residential street- like 2 blocks away to the beach! The home is so sweet, decorated impeccably & stocked with every thing you need to “move in” for awhile. Host was always available via text- gave me a sense of security if I needed anything regarding the property. Oh! I can’t forget to mention the gardens! The front & back yard are beautiful! Plenty of seating to pull up a chair and enjoy your coffee in the morning & wine at night. I always need tv- tv had plenty of channels to satisfy me. A smart tv too- you can find any of your subscriptions & log in easily. So anyway- I love this place & hope to have the opportunity to stay again. Everyone I know, loves Santa Cruz & this home is the epitome of Santa Cruz- this home has everything you could ever want & hope for. I just hope I can stay here again! Thank you Lana! You were a delight. Oh! Also, this home is perfect for a romantic stay (very!) and sweet for a stay with a friend or family member. Cozy! Cozy! Cozy! There isn't one thing I would have changed. Just a dream come true! Again, thank you Lana, for letting me get a chance to stay in such a wonderful place :)

It was a nice, quiet, clean place that is a nice walking distance from the beach. The one time I contacted the owner, she answered and helped solve the problem. There was a nice, big cobweb out of the way, in the back yard. I enjoyed seeing the intricate spider's weaving shine in the late afternoon sun, and the spider never seemed to move from the web, so it was no worry for me. Two things could have been better: I found no tissue paper on the property and the dish washer was out of order (could be a problem for some people.). I enjoyed staying there a lot!

The house was the perfect size for me and my wife and my toddler, having a small backyard was a great addition.The house was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed for our week long stay. It’s also within easy biking or driving distance to everything, plus a quick 5 minute walk to the beach. The owner Lara, was a kind and generous host, and my family and I look forward to staying there in the future

Beautiful Property. Really cute front and backyard. Everything is clean and maintained. Has pretty much everything you need to have a cozy stay. Very nice bathroom and kitchen. Cute, safe neighborhood. Good parking. Easy walk to the beach. Anything else you need is within short driving distance. Really couldn't ask for more in a vacation rental. Manager of property helped promptly. Had I really lovely stay! Loved it.

What a very perfect getaway location for one or two people! The host Lana is absolutely charming and I loved renting this property. I will definitely book again!

We recently stayed at the cozy beach house for 4 nights. Everything was just perfect when we arrived. The house is super cute and the back yard was so nice too to have morning coffee and relax. It was close to the beach, although it was a bit chilly for the beach. It’s exactly how it is pictured, the bed was comfy too. We had an extra special treat to see Lena’s 2 dogs who were so cute! If we come back to this area, we would definitely stay here again. If you have any doubts… don’t! You won’t regret it!

Host Lana is great and her two dogs are awesome! They welcomed us to the house like we were long lost friends. She’s not on property all the time so if you’re not a dog person it’s okay. Party people do NOT book this perfect, little two person home. I don’t want this listing pulled due to crappy guests.

Lana’s place was absolutely amazing. Beautiful, clean, with wonderful walk ability to the beach and nearby restaurants. We also loved the little back porch and yard and spent hours out there reading and enjoying a Santa Cruz sunshine. Will be back for sure… I’m not sure how we could’ve asked for more

This adorable little place was just as described. It had all the basic amenities, a very comfortable bed, and it was EXTREMELY immaculate. I am a clean freak and this was way beyond my expectations. It’s a friendly and quiet neighborhood. Good communication, I would definitely book here again if available.

Lana's beach house is an adorable cottage with beautiful beach themed decor. It was very comfortable. The backyard is a perfect spot to read or reflect. The neighborhood is quiet with friendly neighbors. The beach is a 5 minute walk away, there is a small convenience store/deli around the corner, and several restaurants in walking distance (go to Johnny's Harborside!).

Everything was perfect; just what I was expecting and I wasn’t disappointed. A great place to relax, close to the ocean and places to eat. For anyone interested in walking to the Boardwalk, it’s approximately 23K steps

Nice little house. Enjoyed the back yard. Limited seating for dinner. No one was using the 'studio in back - a separate rental space? Might be a little awkward using the back yard and laundry if others were there. Walk to the beach and restaurants. Would stay again.

It was cozy and comfortable. Extremely clean. The bathroom was elegant and the shower was awesome. I loved the location as it was close to everything. I especially loved the parking space so we didn’t have to park on the street.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend as we were attending a wedding. The property was exactly as advertised. Such a cute, cozy beach house. Perfect for relaxing and just steps from Twin Lakes State Beach and walking distance to some great eating spots. Harbor Cafe breakfast was delish! One of the best VRBO's that we've stayed in. Would definitely come back again!

Loved this little cottage by the beach! Lovely covered porch in the backyard to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. Close walk to a beautiful beach. Everything you need to cook but bring your own spices, napkins, foil etc…..

Beautiful property excellent location- just as advertised and very comfortable. Note that there are no cooking basics in the kitchen (salt, pepper, oil) which made cooking hard without buying a lot of supplies.

Great location.... just a five minute walk to the beach. House is cute, perfect for a couple. The kitchen is open and modern. Bathtub and a shower was nice. Everything was just lovely.

The house was clean, the bed comfortable and it was a short walk to the beach. We enjoyed the back patio in the evenings. The communication with the host was great. I would have given this house a 5 star rating except there were absolutely no condiments, not even salt and pepper.

5 Star Review! The pictures do not do this place justice. Its perfectly comfortable and suitable for a couple on a trip to Santa Cruz. The location was perfect for us, considering what we had going on while we were there.The living room furniture and the bed were comfortable. Plenty of towels available. The back patio was a very nice place to unwind at the end of the day. Furniture is comfortable and there are more chairs and small tables present, that are not shown in the listing photos.We did have a couple of hiccups but I'm not going to stray away from the 5 star rating as they are all more inconveniences than anything else. Plus they are all fixable.Kitchen - One of the cutting boards had crumbs and some food debris stuck to it.The kitchen knives were incredibly dull. Dull to the point that trying to cut a tomato, turned it to mush.There was a very dirty sponge left at the kitchen sink and the Dawn dishwashing liquid was practically empty. BBQ - Gas grill, located on the side of the house, which is not in the pictures. The propane tank was empty but there was a spare nearby. The grill surface had food residue stuck to it. There is a brush provided but it should probably be replaced soon as it was not the most effective at cleaning the grill surface. The ignition switch did not work either. Luckily, I found some matches in one of the kitchen drawer and was able to get the grill working.

It was a short getaway but relaxing and peaceful

Stayed while in town for my son’s college graduation. It was perfect. My parents stayed in the studio and we stayed in the main house. Plenty of room for all of us.

This beach house was ideal in every way. The design and style of the decorating was stunning and the layout of the back and front yards with tropical vibes made for the perfect romantic getaway. Plus the bathroom was amazing. This house is spectacular and if we could give it more than 5 stars we would.

One of the nicest vrbo rentals we've ever seen. Tastefully decorated, clean, looks like newly renovated. Quiet street close to ocean in desirable Twin Lakes neighborhood. Thumbs up!!

We loved this place and the location. We come to visit family and will definitely look to book this again. The proximity to the harbor meant for nice walks every morning. The home was clean and nicely remodeled. The yard and deck were perfect for lounging.

We had an amazing time in this little cottage! Loved our mornings in the sun on the back porch with our coffee that was provided. Perfect location for morning and afternoon walks to restaurants and the beach! Awesome, relaxing bathtub!

We stayed in this house for a quick weekend visit and while there were some nice parts, there were also misses in the details. The location is quiet and walkable to the harbor and Seabright areas which is great, and the kitchen and bathroom were nicely renovated. The misses were minor but a few small details would have made a lot of difference! All of the lights were super harsh fluorescent lights with no way to dim. The heater only heats the living room, so that room became really hot while the bedroom was still cold. There were not usable outlets in the bedroom which would have been nice for charging. The kettle to boil water in didn't work and we would have loved to have a way to drink filtered water.

We had a great time at Lana’s beach house. It was clean and had everything we needed to feel almost at home. We also encountered some friendly neighbors.We’ll definitely like to stay again next time we are in Santa Cruz.

This apartment is really clean and beautifully remodeled. It is one of my favorite places to stay in Santa Cruz, walking distance from Twin Lakes Beach and the Yacht Harbor! Nice yard and hangout spot in the back! Quiet, safe neighborhood.

Property was spotless. Owner was quick to respond to any concerns. Loved the location with a quick walk to the beach. House had everything we needed. Nice Quiet street close to everything in Santa Cruz!! Definitely looking forward to returning soon !!!

This cottage is very clean and cozy. Everything was very comfortable. Just right for a quick two day get away. We walked to the harbor to watch the sunset and to get coffee in the morning. The covered deck and small back yard were so nice to sit in - even in the rain. We certainly hope to be able to stay here again.
