Charming Cottage in town~on Appalachian Trail~Mountain Views~

The AC worked great. The communication was good. The house is old and in need of updates and repairs. The location is good but the trucking and motorcycles off of front porch was loud and not relaxing. We had higher expectations and were unfortunately disappointed.

The property was exactly as described.

Location of the Dorland cottage is perfect, right in the center of charming little Hot Springs. The cottage is cute and well appointed with nice furniture and linens. We cooked in one night and had everything we needed. The manager, Melanie, was friendly and welcoming and easy to communicate with. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit.

The home was perfect for our family and the kind of space we needed. We always enjoy our visits to Hot Springs and we love staying in this house.

We enjoyed our stay at the Doland House this past weekend. The house was comfortable, convenient annd everything is Hot Springs was in walking distance. The host was amazing and gave us some great recommendations. We will definitely stay here again, we enjoyed it very much!!

We had 6 adults an 2 children and still had plenty of room. House is directly next to main road in town and sometimes it's noisy if you're on the porch but on the inside its very quiet, you don't hear any outside noise.Home was very clean and well stocked with nearly anything you need during your stay. Washer and dryer, dishwasher, all dishes and cooking utensils, towels, wash rags even shampoo and body wash.Just bring yourself and food as that's all you'll need. Good location, close to everything in town. Would definitely stay again.Melanie is your contact and is very nice, helpfull and available if you need her.Thanks again Melanie for everthing.

We stayed here for my sons, gravel, bike race, which was held at the Hot Springs resort, and we’re so grateful to find a place that was walking distance to the resort. There was a front porch that you could see the riders go down the street and close in town to everything.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay the Dorland Cottage. Everything was within walking distance. The cottage is apart of Hot Springs history; it is quaint and relaxing, especially sitting on the front porch. We plan on coming back.

This is my 2nd time staying in Dorland. The property is in the perfect location within walking distance to shops, bars, and food. We love the front porch the most. A nice way to spend the evenings
