Everything about this cottage was terrific!

Everything was great. Cottage was very clean, well stocked, and cozy.

Charming community and lovely home. Close to shopping and restaurants. Host is helpful and responsive, yet non-intrusive. It was a quiet and peaceful stay. Just what I needed to unwind and relax.

Great location and access to main Street Midway. Also logistically accessible to many Bourbon distilleries in the area. Very spacious house with capability to house larger parties. The deck was awesome to relax and enjoy bourbon.

Excellent choice to stay, relax, laugh and renew. This cottage was perfect for our long weekend. The rooms inside were comfortable and cozy. The artwork and decor were an added plus. The outside deck was so relaxing for our morning coffee and pastries from the bakery 2 doors down. Steve is the host with the most. We love what Midway has to offer and will be back. Thank you Steve! This home was a perfect location! Also very comfy, cozy & quaint! Plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable. The owner was very attentive and helpful in all ways! The bakery, just a few steps away, is fantastic. The deck is great for sitting out in the evening or morning coffee. We would stay here again. And I would highly recommend.

We came down for a 70th birthday party nearby and this cute cottage was perfect for 3 friends over the weekend. Spacious inside and out. Loved the rocking chairs on porch! Plenty of places to chat and kitchen was the most well-stocked kitchen we've ever seen in a rental. Thank you so much! Would absolutely stay again and may do so for the fall races!

Close to the charming downtown of Midway, right outside of Lexington. So cozy and clean. Great host and a great stay!

This is a charming cottage with lots of character & creature comforts. The breezy covered deck behind the house is ideal for hangin’ out. Owner is gracious & helpful. Location was perfect for our girls’ trip. Enjoyed gorgeous fall foliage, Kentucky Bluegrass Rail Explorers (so much fun!), walked to quaint downtown Midway for shopping & lunch, visited the champion thoroughbreds of Claiborne Farm (home of Secretariat), Race Day at Keeneland, toured the decks of Noah’s life-sized ark, and roamed beautiful Kentucky Horse Park. ♥️?

This wonderful cottage is everything it says it is. Charming and well appointed and walking distance to town.

Overall the experience was fine, not great or good. The kitchen had random left over alcohol in the pantry, random condiments and various food in the fridge. Needs a refresh of pots and pans to cook with. There was an odd odor that we could not determine to be skunk or weed that was kept in the home. Upstairs air conditioner units did not function well. Interaction with the owner were awkward, invited himself into the home for a drink and cigar, lit a bonfire in the backyard with his grandson, after we were gone all day he came then to mow the grass when we wanted to just unwind. Overall, the place was fine but not somewhere I am returning to anytime in the future.

Perfect place for bride and bridesmaids. We had the best time!

Steve is a great host and the property is exactly as described. Our trip went smoothly with no issues at all! Looking forward to a return trip in the very near future!

My brother, myself and our spouses combined bourbon and a family gathering. I looked at The Charming cottage location and the pictures plus glowing reviews. I decided right away that this was the place for us. I don’t like to brag, but I picked us a winner! Steve is a wonderful host.

Wonderful location in the heart of bourbon and horse country. Owner was very accommodating and informed us about many activities that we may have missed including the wonderful bakery located just a few doors down from the house.

We had a group of friends meet up that live in different states. The property was convenient to activities and restaurants and also had a great outdoor space to hang out and catch up. Nice lay out. Everyone had their own bed without having to stay in separate hotel rooms. The owner was helpful and friendly.

The cottage was perfect for our trip! Comfortable, cozy, and homey!
