Casa de Gamay: Your Home Away From Home

This property exceeded our expectations. It is beautiful and beautifully maintained. We arrived at 11:00 PM and the house was easy to find, even at night. Larry was outside to greet us - a very thoughtful gesture. The home - it quickly felt like our home - is very user friendly. Everything is on one floor. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the spices and condiments you could want to prepare your own meals. We appreciated the convenience of eating breakfast at the house. We ate our dinners out but noted all the glassware, flatware, and dishes available for use. Larry and Wanda provided all the toiletries that are such a hassle to pack - shampoo, conditioner, body wash, but also toothpaste and even shaving cream! The location is both quiet and convenient. We stayed a week for wine tastings. We went to wineries in both Sonoma and Napa counties. In every case, we were able to hop onto whatever main road we needed very quickly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to return. Casa de Gamay truly is your home away from home.

The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It was very comfortable and we will definitely be back. The host was available to answer any questions and responded quickly, great communication. The beds were comfortable and lots of entertainment options were provided. It was a great experience from start to finish.

The house was perfectly located between San Francisco and Sonoma/Napa Valleys. A 30-40 minute drive to some wineries and the Armstrong Redwoods Reserve. The house was clean; the kitchen had every utensil and pan you could think of; and the bathrooms included shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, etc, which is great when traveling by plane.The Host was very thoughtful and ready to assist when we had questions.I highly recommend this property.

Fantastic stay, property was accurately listed. Charming home that felt like home. Hosts were incredibly communicative and welcoming. Check in was a breeze and if my travels take me to the area again I would highly consider staying here again.

Property is close to vineyards and shopping. Very clean and comfortable. Pantry is well stocked with cooking items. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Great location very many different things to do for adults as well as a family. We would definately stay here again and highly recommend this rental!

We are a retired couple from Niagara-on-the-Lake (Ontario Canada) and stayed here for 18 days. We have rented many homes over the years and this one far exceeded all others. Many other reviews for this place document the extensive amenities, comfortable bedding/towels and well stocked high quality cooking utensils plus storage containers/wrap/foil. This home is as stocked as your own, if not even more - from panty/fridge food, appliances, to bathroom/medicine cabinet items, with multiple choices of brands. Great gas stove and gas BBQ. Super clean and decorated as a home versus a rental property with minimum décor. Larry and Wanda were super hosts and responsive to all our queries. We would definitely choose this place again when coming back to this California area. Truly a home away from home. Thank you Wanda and Larry.

Great house, best hosts ever

It’s a 10+/10!! Larry and Wanda’s Casa de Gamay is so homey, comfortable, clean—and the best stocked VRBO we’ve ever experienced! Communication and recommendations from the owners were top notch. The gas fireplace was a perfect setting for the evenings. Don’t hesitate in booking and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!!!

Wanda and Larry were amazing hosts. They had cookies waiting for us and even asked if there was anything special we needed. It was by far one of the best experiences I have had
