Whether you come with a boat or not, you'll be sure to enjoy the water views from the living room, sitting area and large deck - perfect for consuming cocktails and taking in the beautiful sunset! Campo Del Mar boasts a contemporary open design with a multitude of comfortable gathering spaces for your group. Light and views flow from the kitchen to the dining and living rooms.



TheSpace:

Adding to your relaxation, the primary suite has a King bed and Twin over Twin trundle with an ensuite bath complete with over-sized soaker tub to chill and unwind. This home also offers 2 additional bedrooms for your group to spread out during your stay.

Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.

The 979 Crew just loves this seaside and bayside community flanked by Galveston Island on one end and Surfside Beach on the other. On your drive, stop by the grocery store for your favorite grillables and beverages, make a pit stop at the bait shop to fill your bait bucket (great fishing in TI), and/or place a call to make arrangements to rent a golf cart - this is a very golf cart friendly spot. Enjoy the Gulfside's uncrowded pedestrian beach (no cars allowed for 300 yards but golf carts welcomed) where you can setup your group's camp for the day on the beach to build sandcastles, jump in the surf, find unique shells and sand dollars, boogie board, shore & surf fish and build an evening bonfire. Or if preferred, utilize the available launch for your boat or kayak or head to the fishing pier on the bayside. Some much to do so little time!



Getting Around:

SAN LUIS PASS:

San Luis Pass and Treasure Island have been known all over the United States for being a saltwater fishing hotspot and the most amazing sunrises & sunsets! It is 15 minutes from Surfside and across the bridge from Galveston's west end and only about 25-30 minutes to the heart of Galveston Island's activities. Most people come to the area to spend quality 'non-commercialized time with family, extended family, and friends!

When you rent a 979 home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, tp and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!



PUP-FRIENDLY:

Bring Fido(s)! We welcome your furry friends (aka family members). Up to 2 well-behaved dogs are allowed at this home, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee of $100 per dog per stay.



WIFI/TV SERVICE:

Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!



979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:

All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!



CANCELLATION POLICY:

When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.



Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.

    Everything was nice, it is about time for a new washing machine it is about worn out, this is the second year renting the house, will rent again next year if the price does not go up

    No house at beach should be without iice maker or st least ice trays. Only one shower on main floor was inconvenient for 4 adults. Stove was old and a challenge to use but it did work. Enjoyed quiet neighborhood and elevator was a huge success.

    Great house. Elevator for convenient unpacking/packing. 2 boat lifts and fishing lights for nightime. Bathroom and shower downstairs so u dont have to go all the way upstairs every time. Cons - only 1 shower upstairs, master bed has bad sink in middle, no downstairs table or seating. Bring your own. Other than that, its a great house for a weekend or long rental.

    Everything was just as described , elevator is wonderful for loading and unloading, enjoyed watching the fish at night in the light. Good ac , house was always comfortable .

    This house has all the amenities you need for an escape to the outdoors. It also has all the comforts of home. The only thing wrong is no seating downstairs but that is being picky. We Vrbo texas coast all the time but seldom return to the same place. We will be coming back for sure. This is the real deal at an affordable price and in a prime location to hunt and fish

    We have stayed in the neighborhood.. first tome here:) Great house and layout. Wonderful all windows to see it all anytime. I would ask to have a blender & measuring cups for preparing.. but otherwise everything was just lovely. Thank you Oh, nice downstairs place yo keep fishing poles etc- nice planning ++ the LIFT was a treat for loading/ unloading.

    Everything was great and the place was very clean. Great access to fishing off the dock with fishing light also. Caught some nice Sand Trout, Croaker and Blue Crab. Lots of Hards and Gaftops also. A/C was great and beds very comfortable and clean. Will stay again for sure

    Okay place, but really needs updated carpet, curtains missing, decorative bed pillows, blankets, and MANY more large trash bags available as there were no trash bins. Our trash blew all over the place with high winds. Fishing was only hard heads at the dock, but we had a boat to go into the bay. If updated with these things, it would be a much nicer place to stay.
