Breathtaking home with Astonishing Mountain Panoramic Views! Dog Friendly!

Had a great time in Scaly Mnt. With my wife, two sons and some good friends. The home was spacious, and beautifully situated in the mountains with great views. I’d highly recommend this property and hope to stay here again!

Sweet location! Conveniently close to Clayton, Sky Valley, and Highlands for shopping, dining/wineries, and entertainment. Loved seeing the waterfalls and hiking the trails. The house was awesome. Spacious, exceptionally clean, and well-stocked with everything needed. Ideal for neat freaks like me! Super comfortable. Loved having both indoor and outdoor fire options. The solo stove on the deck was perfect. The home offers great privacy with amazing mountain views and gorgeous sunsets. We had a fantastic stay. The area is beautiful and there is no doubt that we’ll be back ! I highly recommend this property.

Great stay in Scaly Mountain. Cabin was great and well stocked.

Prior to booking we sent a message though the link on the booking page asking specifically if the main level was wheelchair accessible. We received a reply stating that yes it was wheelchair accessible. Based that information we booked the property several weeks in advance. Upon arrival we found the main level, kitchen dinning room, bedroom etc., was on the second level and not wheelchair accessible. One must go up 14 steps on the inside or 16 steps on the outside to enter the main level. It was impossible for us to carry a wheelchair bound adult up those stairs. We tried calling the emergency contact provided but found their was no cell service or wi-fi in that area. We had no option but to make the 5 hour return trip home. During the return trip we were able to contact the emergency contact number and were told the property description stated (in the fine print) stated the only the lower level was wheelchair accessible. The only thing on the lower level was bedroom, game room and laundry room. The main point is we asked specifically about the main level and were told that it was wheelchair accessible and it was not. We thought it was reasonable to request a partial refund since no one stayed there there was no increase in utilities, no cleaning service needed and no service fee applicable, which totaled over 3 or 4 hundred dollars. We asked how to submit our request for refund several times and have not received any information.

Nice home not far from Sky Valley, the drive up to home is a little rough ( not paved ) but driveway was . Big home , nicely done and they have stuff that a lot of places do not have. Like coffee , sugar , salt .. etc. it gets pretty cold up there , but we went up for my birthday , so fun weekend..!

The home was beautifully appointed and amply supplied with our basic needs. The sunset views were outstanding! I had two Eagle Scouts with me so were very careful and diligent to protect the property and tried to leave it “ better than we found it.” Scouts Honor. ?

Overall a very nice property. Very clean and all amenities were as shown. However, the access to property quite difficult. A bit over a mile of gravel road and steep milled asphalt/gravel drive takes its toll on auto. Need to be forthright about this.

The 5 of us had a great time at the property. Everything was as advertised. We stayed for 5 days and will come back again. There was much to do within 30 minutes of the house (golf,hiking,shopping,restaurants,etc.).and beautiful mountain scenes all around. I would recommend the house with 5 stars!

We had family come in town for our son’s graduation. It’s such a beautiful house tucked away with gorgeous views. It had plenty of space and it was at full capacity. We loved the dual decks and all the seating. I cooked dinner for everyone on the grill(which was clean and had 2 full propane tanks!) Everyone said that next trip up they wanted to stay here again. We will be back when everyone is ready!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this mountain home! The view at sunset is amazing, the house was clean, very spacious and updated, and the location is close to everything in the highlands and Clayton. The Glen falls hike was a great way to start the day on the way to Main Street. I also recommend the new Julep farms in Dillard which was great for brunch. We are definitely coming back.
