Very clean. Very steep driveway. Beautiful views when not raining.
This was prob the best time of our lives! Two families came together...grandparents, moms and dads, and children and grandchildren...for Thanksgiving. They came from all over...Alaska, NYC, Pittsburgh, Wyoming, Hawaii, NC...our cup runneth over! We had plenty of room to be together as well as great walks/hikes in the mountains, fun in the hot tub, and sitting out on the deck with a million-dollar view of the topography by day and the STARS in the DARK SKY by night. We were warm in the house and cozy in our beds. We played games, told stories, and were so happy to just be present with no distractions. We never turned on a TV...but they were there. The setting can not be beaten!
Great view and nice house. Would stay again if we return to the area.
The view at this house is mesmerizing! There was plenty to do in surrounding areas and we enjoyed the hot tub. We did have a few issues during our stay. There were two long blonde hairs on the pillow i was laying on in the bedroom. I can't explain the level of disgust and surprise as the home is otherwise immaculate. The Wii's controllers were dead and there were no new batteries or charger, leaving my 11 year old disappointed. The side door was unlocked when we arrived and it was freezing cold in the house as it was not set on 72 as the owner's request. Even with the issues noted, it was overall a nice weekend getaway.
More secluded than expected. Excellent quiet cabin. All the amenities desired. Everything worked. Clean. Wildlife in evening. 30 min drive to “civilization.” Nice stay. Ate meals on patio w beautiful views
This place is adorable! We rented both this cute 1 bedroom cabin and the larger house at the top of the driveway and really had a hard time deciding who was staying here it is so cozy with a great porch and views as well. My husband and I will definitely be coming back here for a long weekend!!
Very clean, nice amenities, hot tub was great. Nothing like hanging out in the hot tub looking at the stars with nobody anywhere around. The decks and main window inside the house had a great mountain view. The cabin is 30 min from the grocery store, through some tight, twisty roads, so be prepared prior to arriving! 5/5.
The name “Cozy With a View” fits this cabin perfectly! Pictures don’t do this cute cabin justice - it’s cozy, quaint and beautifully decorated!!!! My girlfriend and I had a getaway weekend and enjoyed all the amenities - especially the hot tub. Can’t wait to come back with my husband.
This property is a right-sized, up-to-date house with beautiful mountain views. It was also at the margins of what we as big-city dwellers could comfortably tolerate, on the secluded side of isolated, nearly a thousand feet up from the valley floor on a well-maintained gravel road, twenty minutes from the highway. Please take the owner's requirement for a four-wheel drive vehicle to heart, and plan your day trips to avoid unnecessary travel. Although there was no quick way to get from here to there, that was just perfect for us. We had everything we needed for a long, restful weekend, and could imagine no better environment for a couple looking for a private spot to unwind and recharge. For bigger groups, the owners have another house on the property, just up the road, with a large, level yard and access to hiking trails. We, on the other hand, would very cheerfully return to our cottage.
The views are just amazing.. The drive to the house was relaxing and the scenery was beautiful. The host was so great and helpful. The hot tub at the end of the day was a perfect way to end of the day. You won't regret staying here, It will be one of my best memories with my kids :)
