Beautiful, quiet, private, short walk to the beach.

My husband, elderly mother, 18 year old son and I happily made this place our home for a week and we loved it. We enjoyed the local restaurants (Pridwin, Salt, Slice, Eccentric Bagel, Tuck Shop) but mostly just cooked dinners at the house and enjoyed the beautiful backyard. The house had very comfortable couches in 2 different rooms, which meant my son could play video games in one room while my mom and I did a puzzle in the other. We loved having our pooch with us (black lab) and always appreciate a rental that allows for good pups. Which I mention because the All Groomed Up groomer shop gave our dog a spa day and dog-sat him while we went wine tasting for an afternoon. We loved our stay on Shelter Island and the house was a big part of our experience!

This was our first visit to Shelter Island , and it was really nice. The house was comfortable, clean, quiet, well stocked. The grounds were well maintained Ashley, the owner was very easy to correspond with, and suggested a fantastic restaurant (The Vine Cafe) for our birthday celebration. The beds were comfortable, the outdoor furniture was comfortable, cushions available in the shed. There are bikes in the garage, we did not use them but they are available. The backyard large,but the fencing does not close in the yard. All good, we just kept the dogs on a long leash ( lots of wildlife in backyard, turkey, rabbits, birds galore). Shelter Island is bucolic , serene. Loved the house, would recommend, would return.

We rented this VRBO for two nights for a wedding at the Pridwin. We were very satisfied with the house, and would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay on Shelter Island in the future.

Ashley's home did not disappoint. We had everything we needed and perfect, quiet location for walks and bike riding with my son. Outdoor space and outdoor shower so private and perfect.

Property was clean and comfortable with all advertised amenities. Quiet block with short bike ride to silver beach.

Ashley was a great host and addressed any questions immediately. We had a fabulous weekend with our growing teens.

We were in town for a wedding and stayed in this house. Very nice, clean, cozy, and comfortable. Highly recommend!

This home was as advertised- renovated, quiet and private. Excellent for bike riding. In a perfect location for many beaches and restaurants. (We attempted to try them all!). A well equipped kitchen for those rainy days. Our host was just an email away for any questions, with an impressive response time for those questions. We really felt at home away from home. Thank you!
