Beautiful New 3BR! Steps from the Arkansas River and close to town (STR #0303)

Great house, great location and great owner/property manager.

Well stocked, perfect for our group!

We loved the stay at this property. The home is a great size and very comfortable. There are plenty of towels, comfortable beds, great linens. The kitchen had what we needed to cook. Lots of outdoor spaces. It is a short walk to the river and nearby waking trail around a beautiful pond. We also walked in to town for shopping and restaurants. We had a toddler so the booster chair, port a crib, and baby gate was very much appreciated. The property does not have ac so it was a little warm in the late afternoon and evening before the sun went down. But it is summer, so it is expected. The mornings were nice and cool. Salida is a great town and we will be back for another get away.

This property in Salida has a great location, nice space for a family both indoor and outdoor great location to Monarch Ski Resort. Everything is provided for you-they do a fantastic job of stocking bathroom needs, cleaning and washing needs, extra blankets, pillows. We had kids and very much enjoyed their games and toys. That is a a much needed perk when you are traveling and can’t bring toys along. I would definitely stay there again.

This property was very nice for our weekend trip to Salida. Clean, modern, and pretty close to downtown. I would have preferred a place closer to downtown as in the winter cold it was a bit too far to walk. But the beauty and the comfort of the home made up for this. We loved having game nights in the living room and we had a fun going away dinner at the table, which was convenient because all of the restaurants had 1 hours wait times due to ski traffic!

We have stayed in this house several times. We always have the best time. We ski at Monarch mountain, walk to town along the river for dinners and just love Salida.

We could not have been happier with our stay in Salida - we loved the town and this home was perfectly suited to us (as it would also be for families with young children!). It was super clean and we loved the well stocked kitchen - they have thought of everything! The home was full of light and gorgeous mountain views and we really enjoyed the deck and yard. We never got back in the car as everything was so easy to access in town via the road or river trail. Great excursions locally too (a family member drove outside Salida - loved the Leadville train ride!) Could not have been more perfect for us!

Great location to optimize the best of Salida and the Arkansas River. Clean and spacious property inside and outside. Hope to stay again.

I just stayed for almost a week here with my in laws, two boys and husband and had a wonderful time. It's great location to downtown and we would walk or ride bikes there daily. We used ark anglers fishing guides for a fly fishing day and the house was perfect to come back to. My in laws were so obsessed they started looking at a ailable properties near by to buy! Thank you!

It was very comfortable

This was our third time staying at the house! It continues to be a perfect setup for our family. The stand alone garage for bikes and gear, the decks with scenic views, the privacy of the location, inside the house is beautiful, and the turf grass field for our kids to play! So many great things about this house!

Beautiful home close to town, plenty of space, clean and cozy.

We stayed at this place in 2022. Unfortunately it was not available for us in 2023. Fortunately this year it was. We hope it is available to us in 2025. The location, neighborhood and the views are what we like. The home is very well designed. The number and the location of the bathrooms and bedrooms is very accommodating for six people. We had four. The living, dining and kitchen are open design.The kitchen cabinets are very well stocked with amenities such as small tools, flash lights etc. The home is very clean and well maintained. The manager reported right away when we needed assistance. It is the place for us.
