Beachside Bliss in Ship Bottom – Updated 2BR Duplex, 2 Blocks to Beach

Great little house. Perfect for a small family. Has everything necessary. Would recommend a hanging rack for clothes. Great new grill and beautiful/cozy couch in living room We really enjoyed sitting out on the front deck. Private and peaceful.

Our second time renting this house (top unit) and it was perfect for a week at the beach. Had everything we needed and is in a great location. Our favorite thing about the house is having the front deck and back deck. Thank you!

My boyfriend and I rented this unit for the week. We have been going to LBI since childhood, so we know the island well. This was a very convenient location, close to the bay and the beach; and almost immediately when you arrive on the island. I feel like we had pretty much everything we needed to accommodate our week at this spot. The upper level has a front and back deck which was nice, the entrance is private through the back of the home, so we did not encounter the downstairs renters much. The place was well cleaned when we arrived. If I could recommend any improvements, I would say the living room couch is a main piece of furniture that could get an upgrade. The grill on the top deck was pretty rusty but we made it work with foil pans. Did not mind washing dishes; but if the house had clean/replaced towels and bedding for new renters that would be a nice touch. Also, it would be nice if the house came with seasonal badges for renters. We appreciated the home and would recommend to another couple for a relaxing week on the island with all the necessities.

This was perfect for our family of four. It was an easy walk to the beach (about five minutes) and a quiet street. We enjoyed the in outdoor space, especially the roof top decks. We lucked out with great downstairs neighbors (who were also renting). We had to remind the kids to keep it down so as not to disturb the downstairs renters. It was about a 10 minute drive to the shoprite on the mainland so we could stock up on essentials for the week. There's a full size freezer and fridge so that came in handy! There's a great coffee, breakfast, lunch place on the next corner called The Local. It was a great place for morning coffee. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend for a couple or small family.

Nice, clean two bedroom unit 2 has a front porch with a view of the neighborhood. The rear deck has a table and benches,recliners and a gas grill with a spare gas tank. We used it several nights. Large TV in living area with Netflix. Throughly enjoyed our seven night stay.

My husband and I had a wonderful vacation. The apartment was perfect for us. We had a spare room which was perfect for our clothes and luggage. The living area and kitchen were great for relaxing after the beach and having a few cocktails before dinner. The location of the apartment was great, located just 2 blocks from the beach and right in the center of all the restaurants and activities. I recommend it if you are a couple of a family of 4. Great host as well. Very attentive and easy to communicate with.

This was a beautiful stay in a perfect location on LBI! We visit the island every year for a trip with extended family, and this place had everything we needed to enjoy our week. Darlene was responsive and communicative from start to finish, and we had no issues during our stay. Don’t hesitate- book this place!
