Stayed Aug 1, 2025Property was perfectly located with beach views and easy access. Had everything we needed except for extra bedding for the pull out sofa in the bedroom. The downstairs shower needs some maintenance ( loose fixtures and needs new caulking) but fully functional. The twin over full bunk bed in the bunk room was very unstable/wobbly and I wouldn’t let the children sleep on it for fear of it breaking. With all that being said I would still rent this property again due to location and cleanliness.

Stayed Mar 9, 2024We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beach side home. The interior of the house is decorated beautifully to compliment the outside environment. Being a relatively new build, everything was crisp, clean and new. The home does move a bit when windy or when people are moving about but we didn't find that it disturbed our stay in any way. There was plenty of outside seating for everyone and the added bonus of a deck on both sides of the home allowed us to still be comfortable outside with a refuge from the wind. We did experience some difficulty with signing into our own streaming accounts on the TV but other than that, everything was smooth sailing and we had a delightful stay. We will definitely stay here again!

Stayed Aug 13, 2023Upon our arrival the master closet was like a sauna with water dripping off the ceiling. Yes, they sent someone to look at it and the fix was to remove the air conditioner filter which looked like a fur baby (beyond disgusting). He did not have a replacement filter and said someone would bring one the next day. Never happened during our 2 week stay. The stools wobbled so you couldn't safely sit on them and the bolts on the table legs were not even finger tight so we kept waiting for the table to fall over. The dinnerware was cheap plastic, most of which was not microwaveable and kiddie size silverware. The house constantly sways and if somebody is walking around water actually sloshes in the bathtub and the blinds bang against the window frames. Very unpleasant feeling. The house was lovely and had nice upgrades such as decorative cabinets, door frames and built in shelves. Too bad they didn't follow through with the rest of the fixtures.

Stayed Oct 22, 2022The house was impeccably clean and comfortable. The location is fantastic and makes for an easy walk to the beach. The only issue I had was not with the house but with VRBO. A storm came through one night which resulted in loss of electricity and water. A boil water was issued to the residents of Treasure Island that morning (property management companies received the notice as well). That afternoon - 8 hours later - I was approached on the beach and asked if the boil water notice had expired. To say I was surprised is an understatement. After finding out that that person had been notified by the rental company she had booked through, I contacted VRBO. I was told that they had not received the notice and all was fine with the water…only to later find out that VRBO had, in fact, received notification. In a continued (and very concerned) conversation, I was then told it was up to me to find out from the Treaure Island Operation Manager when the water was safe to drink and use. In all my years, I’ve never experienced such a situation. But as guests of a community and customer of VRBO, we rely on those that we book through for emergency communications/information. Hopefully this lapse in vital communication will not happen again for other VRBO guests in Treasure Island or any other location. Elin

Stayed Jul 16, 2022Newly remodeled beach house that is just steps from beach entrance. House is well maintained with a fully stocked kitchen as far as appliances, cookware, utensils, and eating ware. The interior staircase to second floor can be tricky as it has a 90 degree turn without much room for it, and there is no traction strips or carpet on the treads. Be careful, especially if the treads have any water drips on them: 2 adults slipped on them. The beds were ok, not great. There were vinyl mattress protectors on some that made the sleepers hot. The kitchen is nicely appointed; however only 6 coffee cups in the entire place which was at odds with the numerous plates and silverware available. We ended up having to wash dishes far more often than should have due to that. Also, only a limited number of dishwashing tablets are provided so bear in mind. All in all, we recommend and would gladly stay here again. Location was unbeatable. Beach was nice and the people friendly and well behaved. The house has outside hoses for rinsing off on every deck as well as an outside shower. There are 4 decks which were well used for watching sunrises and sunsets.
