Stayed Aug 13, 2025Beautiful home with wonderful views of the mountains, close to Sylva and WCU. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the deck in the late afternoon/evenings and the fenced yard for our dog. Driveway was very steep, but we were able to manage it in our mini-van without any issues (and was worth the view). Hosts were great and very responsive, would stay here again in the future.

Stayed Jul 22, 2025Balsam Haven is a beautiful, clean and comfortable home! The decor is very nice, the beds are very comfortable, and the view is spectacular! The home is not technically a 4 bedroom home but worked perfectly for our group. Thank you for allowing us to use your home! We definitely recommend it!

Stayed Dec 12, 2024Great place for WCU graduation weekend. House was perfect. Parking was a little lean with a full house, but extra spot helped! Road is pretty steep but had no issues. Owners were very quick to respond to questions.

Stayed Nov 29, 2024Our family of 8 enjoyed this weekend at the house. Great time with all the amenities needed. Beautiful location, we went on the Polar Express in Bryson City, ate at Lulus in Sylva, super friendly people-highly recommend!

Stayed Mar 23, 2024We had a great overnight at Balsam Haven! Perfect spot to watch the sunrise. Everything we could need in the house. The deck is perfect, and having a fenced in side yard is really nice for our dogs. House was clean with lots of little touches to make our stay very pleasant. Will be back again if it’s not booked!
