Ballan country escape - 4br, beautiful garden & cosy

This was a comfy and clean home to stay in. The house was a great size with 4 double bedrooms. It’s in a lovely location.

The host was very helpful and the facilities were fantastic.

Overall it was a great place to stay. A few hiccups with the key sticking and the heating but the owners were very responsive.

We will be back. Adored everything about the place!!! Kirsty was super helpful and so kind for our stay.

We opened the door to find the house was lovely and warm. The heater had been put on prior to our arrival. As I am from Queensland and not used to the cold, this was just perfect. And as an added bonus there were heated towel rails! We didn't need to touch the heating system as it was already on the ideal setting for our entire stay. The house is in an ideal location and is set well back from the road. It was very quiet and peaceful. All the amenities we needed were provided. I would definitely recommend this house to others wanting a quiet stay in Ballan.

Problems with toilet not flushing on arrival, Kirsty sent plumber on request. We had a stranger knocking on the door insisting that he knew Paul and Kirsty and insisting that mail had been left at the house for him. We had a 9 night stay and thought the linen would have been changed mid way thru. Not all hobs on gas stove were working. We had issues with TV, Stove and washing machine and oven, need to leave manuals for all appliances, as not everyone is tech savvy. In saying all of that, the house was roomy and spacious and we still had a pleasant stay and Kirsty was pleasant and accommodating.

Large and comfortable house with a great rear deck to relax and chill. The house easily accommodates 8 adults and we certainly enjoyed our stay, using it as a base to visit nearby Daylesford, Ballarat, Smeaton and Clunes. The hosts, Kirsty and Paul, had kindly left a small Christmas tree decorated with baubles and had preset the dining table complete with Christmas crackers for our arrival on Christmas Day. The place has an Aldi coffee machine and the hosts had thoughtfully left a good stock of coffee pods for us. The temperature in the house is very well regulated, there’s a dishwasher, oven, microwave and a combo washing machine/dryer - all the conveniences of home and more; so really it makes for a stress-free stay. The home includes a good selection of DVDs, interesting books and board games as well. Being the Christmas/New Year period, many businesses in Ballan was closed, but the IGA and the local bakery were open. The bakery makes very good pies and vanilla slice. We would be happy to stay again.

Well located in a quiet street with a great aspect

Such a welcoming beautiful home for our elder guests to come back to and settle down after travelling from NZ they felt spoilt to have this accommodation and so close to our main 21st / Reunion venue nearby with all the wet cold wheather and mud about....but a lovely weekend had by all.

Large 4 bedroom overlooking golf course. Lovely garden with large areas to run and play. Very clean and all we needed was provided. An excellent and relaxing stay
