Bach 575, Lakefront with Boatshed

Cosy, warm Bach with an incredible view. This was our second time visiting this Bach and it didn’t disappoint. Made use of the pizza oven this time, twice as it was a big hit with the teens. Having the boat in the boat shed was a real luxury. The weather hit but we were warm and cosy and played board games and looked at the view in comfort.

Wonderful family stay

A gorgeous location with a simple bach but so many fun extras. Our children spent lots of time out on the kayaks. Being right on the lake was both so practical and also a real treat. We’d love to come back.

Everything was just wonderful. Location is a bonus, but the welcoming home and property is amazing.Hosts information was thorough and precise.

Outstanding views, NZ’s purest location!

A fabulous stay in a beautifully serene location. It catered to a large family well and had all of the amenities necessary for a relaxing stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for my special birthday weekend! Great location. Clean and tidy with everything we needed for an awesome stay. Was great to get the men folk cooking pizzas!

Beautiful location and easy house for families.

Everything about the stay was perfect! The host is lovely and answered all our queries, the house was perfect for our big family and the location was perfect to get down to the lake and use the kayaks! The kids loved the swing too. Cant wait to come back!

Stunning as always. View to die for, wonderfully clean and tidy. As there is no wifi, a great place to reconnect as a family and slow down and enjoy each others company.

Beautiful location and classic nz batch!

A lovely house, had everything we needed for 2 families - well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of space inside and out to relax and play games, watch dvd’s, and relax by the fire after a day out - absolutely perfect for our winter stay. Kids enjoyed a paddle on the lake. Close enough to the centre of town (maybe 20 min drive) to be convenient. That view was beyond belief. Thanks for having us :)

Super easy stay, amazing spot, everything you’d need!! Great for families.

We stayed here with our son for 6 nights and absolutely loved the Bach, grounds, access to the lake, stunning view and tranquility. Being able to bring the dog was an absolute bonus. The Bach is well set up with everything you need. Activity wise you are spoilt for choice with kayaking from your own jetty, walking around the lake or further afield, mountain biking and all the other attractions Rotorua has to offer or just lazing on the deck with a book. Highly recommended

The location is amazing and the home is quaint and cosy. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck during the day and inside with the fire at night.

Incredible grounds!!

This is our 3rd time staying here. We absolutely love it and hope to return again Stunning views, cosy and comfortable with everything you need and more.

Another enjoyable holiday at this beautiful spot!Fishing, wakeboarding, kayaking, swimming and lovely sunsets to watch from the deck.

Family long weekend, jet skiing on the lake, mountain biking at the red woods. Ate out at Eat Street and spent plenty of time chilling on the deck looking at that view. Cute modern, clean, tidy, well equipped Bach with ever changing views of the lake. Great location, can be active with all that Roturoa has to offer or take it easy n unwind just chilling at the Bach. We will defo be back.

Absolutely perfect location

On arrival we were blown away with the location and view, simply breathtaking. As a family group of eight adults and one baby under one we were well catered for with beds which were comfy. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with all we needed. Access to the lake and kayaks was easy. All on all, a very relaxing weekend enjoyed by all of us.

It’s a lovely place to be, we lived on the deck and at night made use of the extensive movie selection! It’s got that great Kiwi bach feel with everything you need and extras for a lovely stay, good or bad weather. So good to be able to have the dogs. Two adult kayaks were well used by us. Quick walk down the path to the lake through a little slice of bush, just beautiful. We were lucky no neighbours were there for most of our stay, but we did find it pretty close when they’re there.

The location is fantastic, and the kayaking on the lake is a great experience for all of us. I can highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rotorua. I would prefer if they provided an internet connection, as it is the only thing we were concerned about. I would give it six out of five stars.

My family, husband and two daughters took my old school friend who was over from the UK and another school friend who drove up to Wellington to Jeff’s Bach. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind and reconnect with old friends. The Bach was spotless and well equipment with everything we’d ever need. The beds were very comfortable and in a great configuration so everyone had plenty of room. The highlight for us though was the breathtaking views from the deck. 180 degrees of lake view and stunning bush. We particularly enjoyed all the birds, over 20 species spotted in our short stay. We feel very lucky to have stayed there. Thanks Jeff!

Really lovely, so many thoughtful and useful things ready to use. Kayaks were loads of fun and the pizza oven was a huge hit.

Had a great time yet again

We were a group of two families and just loved the house with its beautiful views and lake access. We had a very comfortable stay and enjoyed making pizzas one evening too. Would love to return for longer.
