AMAZING VACATION SPOT

Angela is an amazingly attentive host. She answered any questions we had promptly and with such kindness, couldn't ask for a better host! Thank you so much! We enjoyed the privacy of her property and the proximity to stores, the beach and restaurants.

Great owner. Communication was awesome. She even reached out while we were there a couple times just to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will stay there again.

Loved the location was close to trails to ride our ORVs! Garage and game room my boys loved. Bathrooms could use some attention. And I think they had a sewer leak problem bc smell was awful in front bedrooms. But owners were unaware and they know now so once that’s fixed. Great place!

The house was in a great location relative to the lake, and it fit exactly what we were looking for in terms of a place to relax. Angela was very communicative and hospitable. My only complaint was that when we arrived, the house smelled very strongly of some kind of animal smell (either a dead animal or cat pee, we decided). We were able to air things out for the most part by opening windows, but it was pretty jarring at first. The garage where the games were also smelled pretty musty. If/when these are taken care of, I'd have no problem staying here again.

Great time there. Had a few issues when we got there but owner was great to deal with and got this issues taken care of right away.

Overall our stay was excellent! Easy to find, easy check in/out, perfect location - close to everything you need or want in Houghton Lake! Our hostess was easy to get in touch with if we needed her, super nice too!

It was supposed to be a ladies' weekend, however, plans changed and I came alone and met up with friends from the area. The retreat is very clean and adorable to the eyes. I had the opportunity to enjoy the indoors and explore the outdoors! Angela was so very accommodating and when I created a situation she was right on top of it and took care of it. She is such a friendly host and she took the time to set out a gift for me and my nursing school girls. Very thoughtful and kind. The place is very accommodating for 10 ish people and it would be very comfortable even with that amount. Everything was as the listing stated and beyond. I look forward to spending the summertime there as well with my girls!

Picked this place for girls weekend because it was only place in area that was new, modern & clean with lots of sleeping space that had TWO FULL BATHS! What good is tons of beds with only 1 bathroom? It’s not too far from town and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Took a sleigh ride at CJ’s Stables in Manton, ate delish breakfast at Little Boots Country Diner. We LOVED just hanging out at this VRBO and will try to make it back again to enjoy in warmer weather. Thank you, Angela, for your hospitality.
